Mornin' manual stats VUMP!

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html

Top two shows as of this morning:

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

Total votes Firefly: 518,096 (517,044)

Total votes Xena: 443,510 (443,051)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,052 times (1,060). Shiny!

Yesterday, Xenites voted 459 times (523).

(Xenites voted 593 (537) times less than Browncoats, yesterday.

Firefly is 74,586 (73,933) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #35 show The Simpsons, 68,869. That puts us at 25,414 (26,067) votes away from a 100k vote lead, about 24.16 (24.59) days!

Yesterday, Browncoat votes fell by 8, .75%; Xenite votes fell by 64, 12.24%.

Our next banner, for 520,000 votes, is 1,904 (2,956) votes, and, 1.81 (2.79) days away!

5,451,929 (5,440,290) votes have been counted as of 01/04/08. Yesterday, 11,639 (12,233) votes were cast. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast yesterday, we needed to vote 1,164 (1,224) times, of which we fell short by 112 votes. Our share fell to 9.5029853% (9.5039787%) of all votes ever cast.

Yesterday, despite the decrease in our 10% vote shortfall (112), our overall vote percentage fell, again. We are on the verge of losing our 10% slice of the voting pie! I like a big piece of pie! Get the votes in, Browncoats!

-Raycheetah =^[.]^=

In other TV Vote news:

Buffy got 427 (471) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is not currently receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Battlestar Galactica, which received 496 (538) votes, yesterday.

Battlestar Galactica is set to overtake #5 show Farscape in 16.51 (18.89) days, at current voting rates.

Angel got 335 (370) votes, and, is currently not receiving enough votes to pass #10 show Combat! which received 463 (440) votes.

Finally, Dark Shadows got 410 (408) votes, and, is now set to overtake #37 show Northern Exposure in 10.72 (11.09) days.

Thanks, again, for your time, and, for your support of these great shows!

P.S.: For those who are interested in Moonlight in the Nominations Poll

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html

Total votes Moonlight 3,925 (3,809)

Moonlight got 116 (132) votes, yesterday, passing In the Heat of the Night (1988) 3,888, and, Barney Miller 3,830.

VUMP!! and nom, and I think I'll be altranating between noming Red Dwarf and Moonlight now, just to help out some more shiny folks

I've gotten rid of my avatar cause I got bored with it, and besides, animated stuff makes the threads load slower, so I'm doing a public service Now I'm thinking about a small, simple avatar to put so I have one.

And does anyone know how to get the system to accept a name change? I tried to do that the other day, several times, but the profile thingy would always revert to "RiverFlan". I even tried out some other changes, just to see if they would work, and they did, so the problem's just with my name .

And thanks for the stats SAB39! They're mighty shiny

To enter your custom avatar, you would go to your profile and in the tag are you would enter the html code <'img src=""'>, but the section between the quotes will be the url of the picture you wish to post. Ignore the single quotes in my example, they are there so I can show you a command.

Thanks, RiverFlan. That pic was a surprise gift from a friend, several years ago. I've always really liked it, myself.

Now, I am wondering what you have in mind to work on... Guess I'll have to wait and see!

Pleasant dreams.

Curious ManKitty VUMP!

Yesterday, Browncoat votes fell by 30, .2.85%; Xenite votes rose by 1, .22%.

Our next banner, for 520,000 votes, is 882 (1,904) votes, and, .86 (1.81) days away! Look for it tomorrow!

5,463,292 (5,451,929) votes have been counted as of 01/05/08. Yesterday, 11,363 (11,639) votes were cast. This just in:

A reliable source has informed your humble reporter that the TV Vote poll will go on for at least another year, and, it will be moving to its own URL, which will be announced in the near future.

So, we have long legs in this poll, if we do our best not to go the way Xena did.

We now return you to your regularly-scheduled VUMP!
