Just wanted to say hi to all!

Yeah, I'm another fan of Firefly

I got so attached to this short-lived series, it's incredible. After just the first episode, I got emotionally attached to the characters and the ship. I got a sens of family right away.

It's so sad that a really good show like this one had only 14 episodes in all on T.V....
I'm watching them over and over, wanting for more.
I've always been a Star Trek fan, but Firefly is so much better.

I just don't understand that a crappy show like Farscape (sorry if there are any fans in here :-) made it on T.V. for several years, but not Firefly. I mean, I couldn't even finish watching the first episode!!

I sincerely hope that, somehow, Joss Whedon can find a way to continue the episodes on T.V. with ALL the original crew...
Is it only a financial issue?

P.S. Anybody knows how I can change my username? I made a typo when registering....

Welcome to the site Darkwoski! Glad to have you here posting with us. Make yourself at home.

Have you checked out the movie "Serenity"? It is available on a Collector's Edition dvd now. You should definitely pick up a copy. The movie takes place approximately 6 months after the end of the series.

There are several reasons why the show is not back, and cost of production could very well be one of them. Since the release of the film we have been working to get a sequel moreso than a return to television.

Be sure to spread the word to everyone you know and get them watching the dvds as well.

Greetings and welcome! I'm a relatively new arrival, myself. It is indeed an awesome show!

If you haven't already got it figured out, on the home page of the site, click the "My Firefly" link (third from right near top of page), and then click "Edit My Profile" in the left-hand frame...and that'll let you tweak your handle (or handle your tweak...whatever)

It was like that when we got here!
