I ACTUALLY GOT A FIRSTIES!!!

*attempts an enthusiastic firsties dance*
*falls over and gets a bruise on her arm*

Maybe not such a smart thing to try, when you can't dance. I'll just grin alot (yes, I know that's not proper grammar, but it's faster to type)

That's okay, I don't think you can get an infection from a bruise, and this one wasn't bad at all. I only noticed it when I looked at it, but I'm like that with almost every sort of injury, so.... Did I have a point? lol

My usual answer is "Good think I brought my knife. Looks like we gotta cut the damn thing off" while reaching for injured part.

Yeah, it works for broken hearts too.

Even if people possessing a broken heart want to suicide right away, they usually don't appreciate it when other people do the job for them

A thread titled from a quote from Blade Runner.
One of my all time favorite movies.
I still have my original VHS tape. These tapes last longer than I could ever Imagine. I don't know how many times I've watched Harrison Ford get chased through the Bradbury by that replicant and still this old VHS tape holds up.

Just went through my own Firefly / Serenity marathon and now debating what series to do next. Invader Zim is gaining momentum because I want to watch something funny. Zim is always a good laugh.

Grabbed a still of Gina Torres from her role in Cleopatra 2525 and added it to my sig. Needed something new.

Yeah, I was watching Invasion last night and there was a trailer for the final cut. More human than human in that tone mixed with the White Zombie song has been running through my head all day.

Hello MSB:

Yea I have been watching Cleopatra 2525. Just one of my many guilty pleasures. Gina carried over some of here Hel character traits to Zoe.

I am just about to start an Invader Zim marathon.
PheonixRose was putting these strange little characters in her posts and I asked her about them. That is how I discover Invader Zim. Now I'm hooked on it. Dare I say I enjoy it as much as Firefly.

Of course they different. One is a serious SciFi program and one is just for laughs. I mean who can not resist laughing when Mal talks about space monkeys.

Edit:

Hello NVGHOSTRIDER:

Just finished responding to MSG when your post popped up. You must have beat me to the gate by nano seconds. I am up late on a Saturday watching videos. Nothing much on TV anymore. The writters strike has just about canceled this season. So will go through my collection. It is not that big so it won't take long. I should buy something new. Just can not decide what to get. To many shows and not enough cash.

Why is it, that even when you check the little remember my password box, you're still asked to re-sign in every once in a while? It seems to happen in every thread I respond in in a day, then time passes, and I do that again, and it gets really annoying, so I end up ranting a little about it sometimes

Here's my theory. When you click on a thread the "remember my password" thing logs you in at that point. However, the server auto logs you out after say 30 minutes. So, if you take longer than that reading the thread and then click "reply" you're no longer logged in and you have to log in manual style.

Anyway morning folks. Another week of work ahead. Oh joy.

Well it's not their secret it someone else's secret. A secret they recently freaked out about when they thought someone else might have heard it. That occurred after I was already told the secret. So, now I've gots power.

Plus it's a dumb thing to be all secretive about in the first place. So, if it got out then the person would just have to grow a little.

Good morning Ponderers. Hopefully today will be a little less busy. I get to start writting walking papers and reprimands of several tech.s in anticipation of the big boss and her final decision. Hoo f-ing ray.

Secretly I'm working out field tactics for Sunday. Seems I might be half of a two man fire team (because whenever we play at the local popular outlaw field we end up splintering off from or using the other team mates as bait since they can't sit still or work as a team) that really wants to put a lot of paint on whole squads at a time.

Think I'll work on my marker at lunch.

(Makes happy wishes for FMF)

To liven things up.... a ponder. If you were to kill one person in order to improve existence for yourself and others, who would it be and why?

Right now- Secretary of Education in dramatic firebomb as protest for No Child Left Behind...hopefully it'd set an example and force them to repeal it

'Hard to say... I can't think of any particular person. Maybe a sociopathic tyrant, or a child abuser. There are lots of sick bastards out there. Other than that, a man would have to wrong me deeply for me to want to kill him... Anyhow, killing feels a mite extreme. Can't we abduct'em? Maybe sequester them on an island far away?

Can't really answer the ponder but I can defiantely say I'd like to have a large bean and frybread feed for a a bunch of people in the community. Seems the only thing that really brings the families together around here is the after funeral food. Why can't we just all get together and eat without someone having to die?

And yes Mob, you do sound like a fricken Hippie. They ain't all bad though. (Leaves a glass of whiskey and a hug for our resident Hippie) Okay, there is a group of tree huggers in Kalifornia I'd purchase expensive pepper balls in order to hose 'em down with my down and dirty marker.

hehe spell check can output some funny stuff. Me and a coworker had to review some questions from a patent attorney about an idea we're patenting. He asked us what sort of devices the patent applies to and listed stuff like digital cameras or camcorders and we got down to one called a digital soul recording device. Hmmmm...can't say we had that in mind. Our guess is soul was supposed to be sound and got spell checked to soul. Aren't attorneys supposed to pay attention to details?
