Whatever happened to the Firefly MMO?

It was supposed to come out this year, but I haven't heard anything about it in 2 years and it's not on Multiverse's "Upcoming Games" list.

What gives?

On the other hand, this means that you can indeed purchase the franchise for a FF game. I was a bit worried because Fox and 'Versal both have copyrights.
Anyone know who to contact about more information on this? I'm currently trying to reach someone at Multiverse.
This is rather important to me, because I'm working on concepts for an upcoming game company and would so love to include a Firefly game pitch.

They haven't really given much information. It's not officially canceled, but there's no news either. I have heard from some people who were trying to help with the development that there were a lot of problems with different developers cooperating with each other, and they're trying to work out the details. That was almost a year ago. It doesn't look good honestly. But neither did the idea of a movie. So, we'll hold.
