Happy Father's day to me!

I went to Oxford Comics here in Atlanta this weekend to finally pick up better days, and my wife spotted the Fruity Oaty Bar lunchbox.

Now, that was a must-have if I've ever seen one.

So I'm now the happy owner of a fruity oaty bar lunchbox, my daughters think I'm even crazier than before, and they want to use the lunchbox for school... if there'd been two of them I would be sorely tempted...

Oh, yeah, I found it on the darkhorse website. I didn't realize it was just released last month.

So is it constructed well or is it a piece of crap?

I was thinking about getting one.

Too bad they changed them. I like the first ones that had both Serenity and the Fruity Oaty Bar girls on it.

It seems solid enough. I'm sure its usable though I doubt it will ever be used.

STOWEAWAY

We managed to get a few of those shiny new lunchboxes donated to our Can't Stop the Serenity screening in Charlotte, NC this Saturday.
Hopefully they'll fetch a good bit of coin.
I hadn't seen them yet -- very nice. Might have to put my name in to try and get one.
But I can't decide which I like better.

I was having trouble decideing too. But the Fruity Oaty Bar one looks a little femanine or childish to me. Or I should say to people whom aren't familiar with the verse might question my sexual orientation or brain capacity because of the Asian girls and pastel colors adorning my lunch box.

I have teh ship version and I love it, teh colors are very brilliant, highly detailed, its well made, not as sturdy as the old metal lunchboxes you could use as a step stool (ahem.. not that i would ever dream of doing such a thing). Not sure i would ever use it, but seems sturdy enough to handle usage

We talked about these in Episode 106 of BKGS last week. The Episode is online now for listening. My only real complaint is no thermos =(

I want those lunch boxes. I thought a few years back how I used to get new lunch boxes every year with a thermos and had some really cool ones like from the show UFO. I asked my Mom what ever happened to them and she said she threw them out when we moved to Vermont.
