Oooh, I missed out on bra talks! CK, that sounds almost unbelievable. A bra for big boobs that lets you wear backless?! Me want!!! I'm a 38E (ish - not measured in a while. They've probably inflated some more. They're always doing that when I'm not looking!)

I will definately try that pattern. I have very little sewing ability though so will probably be pestering you with questions when I get stuck soon!

Back to work :-(

Spent way too much time messing with linux this weekend. How come upgrading is always such a pain? They really need to work on that. Still not back to normal yet. For some reason it no longer likes my wireless card. Bah!

Is the con over yet?

Ah now you see I get around computer issues by hiring a friend to fix it for me (I pay him with sex!).

He got my windows 2000 ancient machine hooked up to my new Ipod despite the fact that the manual said it couldn't be done (the tiny Ipod is MUCH cleverer than my clunky old machine!). I've also bypassed ITunes which, according to him, is evil incarnate!

oh and CK I wish I got laid off. A guy down here lost his job at Midway and got 2 months severance and he's already got an offer from Sony where he'll make like 2K more than he did at Midway. So, he's going to have like a month off and then a month of regular pay + severance pay. Getting laid off sounds like the best thing ever.

Lol, yeah, one of my friends there had been talking about quitting for a couple of weeks, but heard layoffs might be coming up soon and so waited it out. I think he's enjoying the severance. ;)

ETA: By "there" I mean the place I used to work, not Midway. I don't know anyone who got laid off at Midway, heh.

And Tex, I think they have a thing where you can transfer your D*C ticket to someone else for a $20 fee. Considering that the ticket prices will go up a lot more than $20, you should be able to sell your ticket to someone for original price + $20 without much difficulty, near the con, I would think. Or at least, that’s what I told hubby recently while trying to talk him into going next year. ;)

I don't believe you have pictures. You never post pictures, so therefore there really is no Zeek. There is a Zeekcat, though. We've seen photographic evidence of such a creature.

In other news, I resisted the urge to purchase the computer. There will be other sales on other days...days when I'm in more need of a computer. Sigh. I really wanted one. :(
