There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I'm sure my son and I would have done this if Firefly had come along earlier back when he was a Legoholic. We did the space shuttle once.

In my experience, Legos never fully disappear once brought into a home- why not drag 'em out & do one now ?

Okay, Sonisall has a raging fever today, so naturally he thought of making a micro-Serenity using as few pieces as possible- he'll get to that, in the meantime we tightened up the big one:

We added the shuttles on the sides, rounded the back some & I glued a window separation to the nose (yeah, it's cheating, but there was NO other way- they don't make anything we could use, sue me)

I made a micro Serenity with surprisingly only 31 pieces.

My son is 23 now and living about 1800 miles away, and I doubt even he knows where his Legos are.

Nice work. That's a very eye-catching colourscheme too, with the blue stripes and the red "hood" behind the cockpit. I could see a custom Firefly-class painted up like that. . .

Since it's been about twelve years since his mother and I broke up, along with at least five moves for them since that is not a possibility. If they weren't thrown away they are in some storage unit somewhere.

Legos are easy to find, just kick off your house slippers and walk across the house, you WILL find some, trust me.

I remember doing the USS Palamino from The Black Hole in lego once, it came out pretty good.

But you and the kid are zen masters, from what I see here.

Nice work.

Thanks Buddy. But y'know you and your boy came up with the inspiration.

Lego rules... I wonder why they don't make giant sized lego so we can all build our own houses.

Ya think the housing market could take that kind of damage?
We'd all have indestructible cheap homes...

I wanna paint Serenity the correct colours, but my boy wants it to stay 'Lego-lookin', GRRARGHH.

Man, there is still a massive bucket of lego at my parent's house. I am so going to try and make my own Serenity with my 3 year old niece when i visit this weekend. Only trouble is she has the attention span of, well, a 3 year old.

Oh I wanted to come here last night and see the work but I received an email from my brother with several videos about the special forces on youtube and I was only able to get half way through them before I had to crash. I will try again tonight.

Quads, skateboards and scooters have filled his mind now. Still loves firefly and serenity, but he'd rather ride his board then play with Legos.

That is so cool! Great work

You've just inspired me though... how about...

Serenity LEGO, the Video Game!!!

Hey, it worked for Indy and Star Wars! (Admittedly, they might be a "tad" more popular, but who cares right? I want a Serenity/Firefly game!!!)
