When the time comes, who's getting in the generation ships, and who's taking their chances on this rock?

Remember, no Alliance here; you get to Mad Max it all ya like!

That would be me! I'm on first, who's on second?

Actually, Earth-as-is is a pretty nice place: its just a fairly small number of the people on it that are a problem (unless you want adventure, excitement and really wild things - but then you can always go cross the Sahara on a Segway).

The real solution to the problem was described by the late, lamented Douglas Adams in the HitchHiker's guide and involved building 3 giant ark ships... (if you don't already know the details I'm not gonna spoil it).

So the real question is - who would you nominate for the "B" Ark? The executive board of Fox are pre-approved, of course.

I'm staying and greeting the Galactica crew when they arrive.

You were busy trying to get yourself lit on fire. It happens.

I want to visit space someday, but Earth is my home. Only if things got really, really bad climatologically or politically would I seriously consider leaving.

Edited to add: Interestingly, this is pretty much identical to the way I feel about the U.S.A.

If you're on first then it means Watt's on third and I Don't Know is on fourth.

Just couldn't resist.

Well I'll definitely be leaving. My country is gradually being taken over by the PC, do-gooders of the nanny state. Criminals have the rights, victims have nothing. But that's for the forum where few dare to tread.

Need any help?
When we're done can we call it This Land?
