I have found the first season of Farscape on Fancast. So I have seen it. But it is not the same as owning the DVD's outright. They may pull Farscape off the site and I may never see it again. So I watch as often as I can so I can have a lot of it memorized. But I am glad I discovered it. Farscape is a close second to Firefly as my favorite series.

i know i have the first book as well ;) I actually bought Reflex not knowing it was a sequel to Jumper, and when i found out it was, i was like "shit i gotta get Jumper" *hates reading things out of order* but when I went to get it, it was listed as out of print. *fortunately* because the movie was coming out so soon, they reprinted it. :P close call if I may say so XD
apparently according to the creators of the movie, Jumper's *supposed* to be presented in three parts, which is why it turned out as such :P

O_o is that how they're explaining it? They weren't even hunted until book 2.

*shrugs* maybe theyre combining em. have to admit most of book one wouldnt really make an exciting movie, i mean, its him jumping to a million different places and eventually letting his girlfriend in on the secret. woohoo.

Very true. It would've ended up like one of those "intelletual" movies in the 70's.

lol yeah. so you have to admit there was justification for what they did with the film. books dont always translate well from narrative to visual, like the bourne series.

holy shit, you cannot depart farther between book and movie as they did. O_o the films are hardly even relatable to the books. but both were still very, very good.

True, but there was also a good 30 years in between books and movie, at least the latest. I think they made one in the 70's (shudder). Things had totally changed, but still very good both book and movie.

I found it, by googling, not by any special knowledge, so I remove myself from the running.
Wish some politicians felt the same. Except removing themselves from the gene pool, that woudl be a better option.

Yup it's Opus... from A wish for wings that work

I do so love the flightless bird support group and when the ducks take him flying and the kiwi whose wife left him for an albatross hears the crazy chicken say " don't suck a duck into your tailpipe" he screams " suck up an Albatross"

That and when in the meeting he says " you want big wings, marry the space shuttle you shrew"

I'm weird

I know Opus is not evil, but the only movie in my small memory bank with a penguin is the the second Batman film that also had Catwoman. And I can imagine Catwoman telling Penguin to "Shut it!"

I think the last Batman film I watched was with Joker and Twoface. I finally saw the Dark Knight, but I am more a X-Men fan. Not that the X-men films were better, I just prefer the comics. The first Spiderman film was great, but the last one was a bit to much.

I sometimes get confused when I'm trying to read comics, whole order of the pictures n such >< I get the whole left to right top to bottom thing, but sometimes it takes me a bit to figure out the order in which the characters are speaking, then u have those pages with the damned sidebar picture and its like "ok when am i supposed to read this part? why is it here?"

You are not alone. I go from top-left to bottom-right. If it does not sound right then I am stuck. But most often it works out all okay. And I read sidebars first. Maybe wrong, but they do give you heads-up on the section you're reading. Actually they talk to much. They should be fighting their evil opponent, not discussing how they are going to thrash them. Of course they do that because like radio and TV you don't want dead air.

That is probably why I read more X-Men then the others. They have have more of a storyline that you can follow. But they have so many X-Men series I get lost trying to keep up. They just recently made some big changes. Disgarding old series and starting new ones. I don't know if will continue reading them. Time will tell. I am glad they stpped making X-Men films. They were not following the comica at all. Of course when does the film industry ever follow the oruginal story.
