STATIC

Grant, welcome to you and your entire family. I'll take that tip of your hat as a kindness. I look forward to exchanging words and thoughts with you in this shiny little electronical forum.

Now to get down to the nitty gritty.

I started watching FF on the first episode. I was hooked from the getgo, nevermind those gorram imbiciles at F*X airing all the eps out of order. My dad was hooked to. We were both dissapointed when it went off the air. However we were exstatic when we found out it was coming on DVD.

My father has four brothers and one sister. All of them have spouses and two kids a piece. Because of us all of them are now browncoats. My grandparents as well.

I'd say that's a pretty good number of converts.
No comparison to Static (a special tip of the hat to all the browncoats fighting for freedom) and his crew overseas, but I have to say, when "Gorrammmit!" and "Shiny!" become regular parts of everyday vocabulary, well then:

Job well done!!!!

But if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you.

YES!!! Someone else who likes that line!

"Can we get away from this eerie-ass piece of work so we can get on with our increasingly eerie-ass day?"

And way to go on the recruiting drive! I'm trying to set up a monthly Firefly night to spread the good word here in the land of NOD. (That's North of Dallas for non-Texans. )

You're gonna come with us...

SHINY

Welcome, fellow browncoat! Keep up the good work -- the more fans we convert, the better the movie will do, the more likely we will get more Firefly in the future!

RIVER
Purple elephants are flying.
MAL
Good. Thanks for the update.
