Morning Sneaky Lass.

Speaking of sulking...... Does anyone know what the record is for different starting QBs in the NFL? Just asking cuz it looks like the Lions are about to have their 6th with Culpepper hurting his shoulder on Sunday! Damn Sissy! XD

<.<

(sips his Pina Colada) <------ Yes I know but I am too lazy today to go out and get the right character instead of the N :P

Yep. Culpepper is a puss. Record? Yeesh. No idea. Maybe look to the Vikings, though, since they switch QBs more often than their front line switches jocks. XD

Taken on the way to work this morning, around 7:45. One of the very few neat things about so much snow, is that it reflectively turns the entire world different colours.

I can confirm via AQA that that the Detroit Lions do now hold the record for the most Starting Quarterbacks in a single NFL season.

Congratulations from a fan of the 1-11-1 Bengals!

I'd like snow, we can't cope with it in this country, more than a cm everything grind to a halt, it's fab and hilarious all at the same time.

Oh, thank god someone else finally responded... I was afraid I'd have to wander through this thread all by myself, entertaining myself, doing who knows what...

ANYway... "Well, at least..." stage? Nope. I hate this fucking state and its fucking snow. I realize it happens every year, and am not anywhere near the "well, at least it isn't..." stage. I know it'll get worse and I won't like that either. I just like the different colours it shows my camera. Last night it was a pale street light orange. And now I'm rambling. Come ON, people! Talk to meeeee!!!

Yeah I guess it does play with the color a bit when it is not coming down so hard that all you can see is white (looks out his window) like now.

So what should we talk about?

I don't know really, you make me smile, that's it! Oh, and you make cool things out of clocks, take over the world.

Enough talking to HK, have to change backup tapes now and walk home but maybe NVG will keep you company

Argh, Chelsea playing tonight and we've still not got out of the Group Stage of the Champions League, bit nervous, given that the Bengals are rubbish and my other team are treading a fine line maybe I should adopt a basket ball team, go Celtics? Sadly whilst I wish I could play like Ray Allen, I'm more like a 6ft 3 KG without the intensity or jump shot but I play defense like a bastard!

You call it "training,"
I call it "asinine."

Sounds like my company. A couple weeks back, it took two managers and the VP of the department (plus three R&D engineers, a quality engineer, and a regulatory associate) to figure out how to format a report. OH. MY. GOD. And they'd been discussing... nay, arguing about it for MONTHS prior to that meeting. And now? Weeks after the decree had been passed down from On High? THEY'RE STILL TALKING ABOUT IT. It makes me want to poke them in the eye with a Sharpie and then strangle them with my knee socks. They're striped, by the way. The knee socks, not the idiots. And I got another pair that is gray with big black spots and then black & white stripes for only about 4" of the top. They're so neat.

ok but may die of boredome by the end of the day... this training has basically become an endless series of self aggrandizing mutual ego massaging sharing of information that is already agreed upon common knowledge. I'm beginning to understand why district people are so busy and yet accomplish so little....side note apparently none of them are aware that statistics and research studies can be made to say anything you want them to..

How about you HK??

Morning Kel,

I apologise for catching you off guard yesterday, my British reserve failed me for a moment and you looked like you needed consoling as your ninja mistress did not wish to interact with you.

My team duly won 2-1 last night though not playing very well but through to the knockout stages so that's a bonus.

So if you're busy following Detroit teams I feel slightly less sad for you Kel as yes the Lions suck but the Pistons won a championship within recent years although I'm not sure how the AI trade will work out and don't you also have the Red Wings Ice Hockey franchise who are pretty useful as well?

Today topics for browncoat discussion, Fish, sports, irritation at missing the Pro Bowl voting as it closed early this year (83% of the season instead of 88% can you tell I read TMQ avidly), music and the HK stangler. Speaking of which, I should have know that you'd picture HK in a Catholic School Girl outfit Kel, what do you think her stabby response will be?

AI trade was the biggest mistake in Pistons' (recent) history. He is a ball hog. They won out by being a Team. I don't think that "The Answer" even knows what that means.

Not a big fan of Hockey.

STINKINGROSE

Made it through another day!

Son got his second tip on his blue belt, next stop: green belt! Go boychild!

AND he got all his work done at school today! (Do not despair MsA.. he just gets distracted by books and goings on when it's independent study time. He does well during group work. Homework at his school means you didn't finish what you were expected to accomplish that day.) He was on a ten day roll, then flubbed it a few days. We're back up to four in a row and he's back on track for 100 in a row. (His goal which HE came up with. If he hits that mark he wants to have a Star Wars Movie Marathon. Ah 9 year old boys. My little nerdling..)

They're studying ancient civilizations right now. His last project was Mesopotamian irrigation and agriculture. This time it's the Mayan calendar. I love that little school.

We're slated for several inches of cold stuff, possibly only snow, possibly sleet and other assorted kinds of cold wet crap. We'll see how it goes.

HK, I'm having fun trying to picture your new socks. They sound delish! I'll stick to my Thorlos though.. I need the warm and cushy feet, not so much the fashion. I still like to go look at clothes and say "Yeah, that could be fun.."

Kel could die a happy man if the last thing he saw was a pair of stripey socks, a wicked grin, and a slytherin uniform. Or he could die, at any rate...

Last week, I ordered some xmas gifts for my brother through Amazon.com and used the "free super saver shipping" option, and I told them to ship everything at once. So what do they do? They ship one book separately from the rest of the order and use that goddamned worthless fucking UPS. The lazy shit UPS delivery cocksucker delivered the book to the "Front Door" instead of the management office like every other delivery service does. Well, assfucks, I live in a large apartment complex with hundreds of people coming and going at all hours of the day! Why the ever loving fuck would you leave a tiny helpless package at the goddamned front door?!? This is the second time these rotten cunts have done that to me, and the second time someone has stolen my fucking package. GodDAMNIT, I am so angry. ((growls))

GEE

Morning all,

stupid day yesterday but apparently all quiet other than HK's crappy delivery experience (first against the wall when your revolution comes?).

Last day and one of my team has called in sick again! Can't be too mean as he sent me a copy of half-life 2 last night, which I am discovering is teh awesomeness and again with the lame not played game situation
*awaits Kek's patented, "You've not played what?" response, first deployed at the revelation that I've never played a final fantasy game*

so anybody got any plans for the weekend, personally I think I shall sleep for a bit and try to do something about the state of my kitchen. Going to a pair of gigs the following weekend but pretty quiet.

I'm confused as to whether MsA is up very late or incredibly early

Also, don't hate me, but I have four working days left and then I'm done for the year.

*flees*

O.o

...You've not played Half-Life 2? And yes, it is "teh awesomeness".

Okay... WHAT THE FUCK???

This thread is too quiet. Have I killed it? Was it the crickets? It was the crickets, wasn't it. I stomped them and you're all appalled at the senseless loss of eCricket life. Is that it? Huh? Well.... too bad....! Yeah. There! I said it: too bad! ((stompes whatever crickets are left)) What are you gonna do now, huh? HuH?!?

((BORED TO DEATH!!!)) XD

The thread lives! (Unlike the crickets.)

poor, poor crickets... no more jaunty whistling...

THANK THE POWERS THAT BE!!! Or just HK. I hate it when they get stuck in the heating system and just keep chirruping and chirruping all damned night like that poem about the bells...

I'm home. So are my menfolk. It's Friday. It's snowing. I'm thinking buttermilk pancakes tomorrow morning. I'm so optimistic I put the bag of mix (New Hope Mills) out on the stove in hopes someone will get up before me and take the hint. NBL, but a girl can hope. I forsee whisking in my future. We're out of maple syrup, but we'll make do with jam or something. Fried banananas with cinnamon! No wait, we're out of bananas... maybe apples.

I just read a cookbook entitled "Beat This". It is humorous, often in a snarky way. It has both gingerbread and gingersnap recipes. I will have to violate copywright laws and scan them or something, as it is a library book and some things are sacred. "Thou Shalt Return The Tome On Time."

Today was a somewhat better day at work.

Now I just have to get through Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, and Thursday and I'm off until the 2nd of January! Nice long vacation.. ahhh.
