Call it Gamblers its crunch time. I've been saying this for 3 weeks The Baltimore Ravens vs The Carolina Panthers in the Superbowl. Carolina held back in NY cause they were probing the enemy. Big Ben is hurt. Now them drunk laid off union boys have been telling PC that the Steelers and the Panthers from the 2nd week would be in the big dance. Now check this stat the Ravens and the Panthers are undefeated out of conference. The only two teams in the leaque hmmm now an AFC and NFC SuperProBowl. And we know the cat always get the bird. We knock the G men out and the Ravens knock down the Titans. This weekend the western divisions will be blown out of the playoffs at home because they are the weakest link in the NFL. If you go to AmericanWageringInc.com you can check out the odds in Nevada on betting. I think all the home teams will lose and only two teams will cover. Chip stock is up yummy. Buy snacks, wings, and lots of suds.

SCOOP

Hello, Piratecat & all

I'm new here and will post on that "newbies in love with this show" thread after this one but being an NFL fan from....ugh....Dallas ...I wanted to reply to Piratecat's post. Great picks this year. I watched the Ravens beat Dallas a couple of weeks ago and have been seeing the Panthers peaking at the right time. Your picks have a good chance to get to the "big dance" this year.

As for Dallas....terrible performance in that game in Philly. Congrats to the Eagles. I'm more of a "past generation" Cowboy fan than current teams. I followed the 'Boys during the Staubach & Aikman years.

So you have exposed yourself as a Dallas Cowboy Fan. Probably the No. 1 Fan. I will have no pity on your blacken soul. Your race lies between the mud of the great river to the foothills of the rockies in their own bubble of debotchery. Your kind has shamed America's greatest achievement in athletics. If I had not been defrocked as a priest I would have the Holy Roman Church excuminicate you and your kind from the grid iron completely. It was a child from Texas that has ruin my life. So I am so happy in your grief. With all your money you have managed to run off coach after coach for what I asked. To stroke Tony Romo's wavey erotic brissly hair with your teeth or drink a cup of TO's sweat from his buttocks. Your organization is a fading shadow of what was once an empire of the ages. I curse thee and forever.

I like your picks (of course being a die hard Panthers fan doesn't hurt). I'd like to see them get back to the big game and win this time.

I want to see them play the Dolphins however. There is something about a come from behind team that I admire.

Ahhhhh, now we're talking - FOOTBALL! Can ya' feel it?

First we must have a moment of silence for the Lone Star state, in particular, for the Dallas area.
Too bad you guys lost to the Eagles, I would have liked for the G-men to have handed the 'Boys there tickets to the golf course. But, such is life.
Get out your hankies!

What team in the NFL would not kill for home field advantage throughout the playoffs?

I do agree that the home teams this weekend are gonna have their hands full. Colts, Ravens, Falcons and Eagles will advance.

The Real Superbowl will be the NFC championship game - Giants vs. Panthers. Followed by the 2nd Superbowl in which the Giants will face.....who cares, it'll be the G-men's 2nd straight Supe Win.
Ok, if I had to pick a team, the Ravens. 20-17.

Thanks for playing, come back soon, bye-bye now!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Well, I am a die hard Dolphins fan, but I like the Panthers too. Needless to say after our 1-15 performance last year I am more than pleased with our 11-5 record this season and the fact we are AFC East Champions. The team and coaching staff really turned it around this year. Hoping Sparano gets rookie coach of the year award.

That said, I am thinking it will be the Panthers and the Ravens as well. As much as I'd like to say the Dolphins are going, in honesty their last trip to the playoffs was in 2001 against the Ravens, and the Ravens won. This year we played the Raven in regular season and lost 13-27.

My pick is the Panthers win the big game.

Being from Georgia, I'm absolutely stoked my Falcons made it when everyone wrote us off as the team that would be the worst.

I halfway agree with you because I remember secretly hoping the other day that we don't play Carolina after the first round. They're just too dominant.

Not sure about Ravens going to the Superbowl though. I think the Colts are surging.
