The old thread was getting quite long and a bit difficult to load. And I believe the new title of the bar speaks for itself...

Old bar here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/mthread.asp?b=2&t=36196#665701

So...who wants drinks? I know I do...

"Help"? Never said I'd be "help"ing... But to address your very valid concerns:

1) American women are insane and a wise man ought to avoid them at all costs, much less let one of them nab him with a ring. XD
2) Dunno about the job thing; petty theft and billiards hustling is fine with me.
3) He'll obviously have to cook for me to earn his keep during his training; his reward will be cold cans of Dew.

That ought to be good enough, neh? XD

((carefully eyes the sacrificial alter in the center of the room))

Dear Mad Scientist,

How do I get those pesky alleles out of my workaday labcoat?
It's not that I mind digging into my work, but the multiple copies of bunnies that result from getting too close to the you-know-what at the super secret facility are really getting out of hand.

Should I try a new detergent? The drycleaner's has absolutely refused to take any more of my laundry. (Their help broke down into tears and quit after the incident with the centrifuge malfunction.)

We won't even discuss what happened when I used fabric softener last week. Sum it up with "fluffy bunny".

effing hell HK,

my review situation is actually worse as I've had 3 in seven years, my 3 & 6 month probation and one about 18 months ago but the important bit, raises seem to be processed seperately so I've not been screwed over in that way, well not quite but that's a whole other story.

Is there some kind of grievence policy/procedure that is applicable/worth going through? I know you're in a pretty specialised area so don't know what company jumping options you have.

I wish there was something more useful I could say, just reminds me that no matter how crappy my company/job situation get I at least get on really well with my team mates and my boss.

*ponders life*

onto less serious matters, Kel, I take your point but you did kill me in the process of establishing that I wasn't a zombie
