Star Trek Con in Ft. Lauderdale to feature Denise Crosby, Walter Koenig, and Barbara Luna. Not too shabby a guest list for a relatively small local show.

I always loved Barbara Luna. She played the lovely Captain's Woman, Lt. Marlena Moreau in Trek's Mirror Mirror, appeared in several original Twilight Zones and Outer Limits, my favorite being It Crawled Out Of The Woodwork, co-starring Ed Asner, and fellow Trekker Michael Forrest. Also, she was Koori, Hawk's mate on Buck Rogers. She guest starred on just about every TV show in the 60's including Wild Wild West, The Invaders, Man From Uncle, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Hawaii Five-O, etc. etc. The convention is at the Sheraton on Cypress Creek. I'll be the one stuffing my face with $5 pretzels.

Good taste, JS! I don't have my scrapbook right here in front of me for comparison, but I think she might be hands-down the single hottest of all Kirk's...liaisons.

I'm thinking abdomen here, man...abdomen...

Good luck with the pretzels - hope you get her autograph!

It was like that when we got here!

Washn...hot yes, exotic definitely! She also had great emotional acting abilities, able to go from soft and sultry to tough and threatening almost instantly. Not many actresses can do that with believeability; another one from Trek who had a similar style was France Nuygen, who I'd like to meet someday too.

Yeah man! I reach. Out of all the thousands of folks in our 'verse here, I think it's most shiny that you, and you alone have chosen to reply on a subject that I really think is core in regards to the genre. And that is appreciating hot and amazing women throughout the decades of sci-fi, and maybe, if you're lucky, getting a chance to meet them. I've been incredibly fortunate over the last few years to have met many of my current and decades-old favorites. In two weeks I'll add Barbara Luna & Denise Tasha Yar to my lucky experiences. I can only descibe it as a special thrill that never goes away.
