Those numbers are *not* good, but your subtitle makes me feel slightly better... =\ *exhales sharply* I'm so frustrated, but honestly, I haven't really been able to explain the show to people to get them watching:

"Well, it appears like softcore porn in some places but it's really not, and these people are victims of human trafficking, and it's a pretty dark show in message but they're fighting to get out, and they get imprinted with other people's personalities to be dates, assassins, or whatever else, so it's got some sci-fi stuff but it's in the present, and..... yeah, nevermind, it'd be too hard to get into and it's a pretty thinking-heavy show."

Aww... I know Dollhouse isn't phenomenal, but I really want to see it develop another season or two... It wouldn't even need 5 seasons (to fill out Echo's contract) since according to Topher in "Needs" she's already been there a while.

Edit: I see your subtitle/comment is gone now.

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

It appears like softcore porn? Really? That's not the first thing that pops into my head, shower scenes or no
No, seriously though, I just say something like, "The Dollhouse is a facility that erases memory and programs people, though maybe not as thoroughly as they'd like. The past is kind of a mystery, and there's federal agent trying to figure it out, and there's a rogue 'doll' out there, who is also kind of a mystery. You should judge it for yourself."

Maybe there are some shows that should only be around a season or 2, anymore then that would ruin it. Networks want a shows to be around for years, maybe 1 or 2 seasons maybe long enough. I'm sure many of you think I'm wrong, or nutz.

The problem with Dollhouse is that you can easily feel lost if you missed one episode.
It's the same with 'Lost'....though a friend tells me he's watched since ep1 and he still doesn't know what the hell is going on.

I'm sure some potential viewers feel alienated if they have missed a number of episodes.

I mean, i'm not discouraging the overlaying plot lines, but treat it more like the X-Files - some shows carry the greater plot-lines, while other ep's are simply one-offs.
