I turned off my television service and am now only getting the tv via the internet. How would we go about getting hulu.com to load Serenity on their movies section?

Not that this solution is any better (since I don't know your reason for cutting off the TV), but Netflix has Serenity as one of its "Watch Instantly" movies if you've got the "Unlimited returns--1 disc at a time" subscription or higher, $8.99/month and up. That's how I watched it the first time! :)

They cut out Mal discussing where to shoot the guy to make it convincing too, and River sensing who had the gun. (Other stuff too, I'm sure--all the funny but "unneeded" parts... =\)

Never noticed before, but The Oprative almost seems to have an emotion when he stabbs Mr. U., doesn't he? I love "somebody fire!" and the fact that instead of just strapping himself in Jayne checks everyone else first (see, he's not bad, he's just misunderstood, lol).

USA Network did a better job of editing when they broadcast it. But at least it was ON, right? Might even see some newbs come here in the next couple days

Yeah, I did notice Jayne more clearly this time strapping the ladies in safely before he saw to himself. He certainly does seem to think he's the hero! Maybe being the Hero of Canton and reflecting on Ariel combined to make him a better man? I'm starting to understand more and more why he's complex enough for people to write fanfic about him.

New Browncoats--that would be a nice benefit! :D I guess I missed it on USA, but I think that's because I hadn't finished the show yet. Probably no cuts would make us happy though. :) I liked getting to watch it at the same time as other Browncoats--my first time for that! I can't wait for CSTS now!

Hehe, it gave me something fun to distract myself with when I was supposed to be doing other stuff!

I tried watching on Universal HD last month, they stretched it out to about 3 1/2 hours. I kinda lost patience.

Since when does 31 minutes of commercials justify cutting 1 minute of essential dialog? USA had 90 minutes of commercials?!

Oh that's right, greed is good.

This drives away newbies, and pisses off oldies. Is that the plan?

I turned my television off since I get just about everything I want to watch on the internet, and because things are getting tight financially. I do own the collectors edition to Serenity, so I am not wishing it on hulu for myself but so the word can be spread at how great it is.

I only watch tv online now too. Why would I want to pay money for a bunch of crap I never get 'round to watchin. Seriously though, can't remember the last time I watched a bunch of fat people fighting to lose weight first, Or a bunch idiots eating cow brains to win a trivial amount of money. Screeewwwww cable, online you watch what you want, when you want.

People who put cutesy political quotes in their signature should be tortured and fed their own family and/or pets.

Or instead of complaining we could write them nice thank you notes about how we all watched and wish they would renew the series...
