I emptied out my closet.

This is not my office.

Nor the vault.

Just the closet.

Jayne has a good start, but he needs a few pointers...

Those are either stuff they know about, or stuff that legally isn't firearms no matter what it looks like, and no matter that they shoot real bullets. "Firearm" is a legal classification.

Besides, the local police know I'm on their side vs real threats.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

You actually have a pink gun! Sweet.

(Last time I went shooting, the patronizing man in charge told me that I should have pink bullets. This is why I prefer blades.)

My daughter has two pink rifles, a pink longbow, pink stun gun, pink tear gas canister, pink kubotan, powder blue pocket knife and a pink tanto.

She wants her rifle powdercoated baby blue next.

Which one?

I've built stuff in pink, blue, red, purple, snakeskin, with horn, bone and old wood.

If I ever strike it really rich I'll fund another movie, but there has to be a 5 minute scene of Jayne working his way down through every gun he has.

Nice arms room, Mike! I was always partial to the SKS as a "grabbit and go "rifle-stashes nicely with the BOB and 200 round son stripper clips.Moisin Nagants, same-same.That SKS a Chicom???
One of these days I have to get another AK variant. If cash is mor e"spendy" for me(hopefully after the new gig gets up and running);I was thinking of an Arsenal SGL20 or a 107SF with the scope rail.If not,Atlantic Firearms has some good AMD65s that were NOT built by Century(original FEG receivers!),or one of the Tantal variants(also not a century build).

I have a crate of Swiss ammo for it.

The tricky one is the MAS 36 (not pictured). 7.5X54 French ammo is a bitch to find.

The pink one is my daughter's, the yellow one is a Transformer one I built for my son.

I prefer the AK to the SKS and the AR to both. That's a Chicom, but I also have a Yugo, and Yugo, Bulgy and Pol AKs.

few year sback there WAS some Syrian 7.5x54mm struff around....I don't know about the quality, but it HAD to be better than some of the Ishapore(India) stuff one of my rnage/work buddies tried to make use of.
I wonder-could the 7.5 French( or Swiss, for that matter) be formed from other cases???

French is a standard base size, like the Mausers and US calibers.

The Swiss is oversized.

This is a mass factory sporterized MAS 36 with that funky bolt.

I haven't fired a MAS 49, 49/56 or a FAMAS.

This one wasn't bad. Only $100, never fired, some gravel indentations on one side.

I always liked their Mas36 bolt actions(except for the ammo scarcity thing)...The Bugle(Famas) is a faitly well thought out bullpup if you are going to stay with the 5.56.Truth be told ;though for me bullpups take a bit of getting used to-great for "space saving" with a full sized barrel, but quite a few others seemsd to have the WORSE trigger linkages I have ever encountered.
For me;I tend to favor the SKS,and AK family of rifles...would love to get a VEPRll in 6.5 Grendel or 7.62 x51.Another good grab for me would be an FN 49-either in on eof th eMauser calibers,or one of those Argentino conversions in 7.62 NATO for their Armada(navy) thagt was NOT administraively vandalised by the ATFingE.

Well,I still have a 1950 dated Tula SKS,a FrankenSKS(one of my unauthorized assemblies I did with the unit armorer during one of my overseas gigs-mixed bag of Chicom&NK&semis Bubba'ed after market parts...oddly enough;I shoots great-milled receiver &screwed in barrel,Baby!),an ol dmodel(no rail) Glock17&an all weather 10/22.
Things I plan to replace/acquire:
Another CZ82 or three, couple of case lots of 9x18 fodder.
A Yugo M57,or one of the Romanian TTC(TT33 knock offs),mags& a couple of case lots.
Another N frame or GP100 .357.
Another Kalashnikov variant.
At least two good Mosin Nagants(preferably a Finn M39;but I am not averse to a good 91/30 or a M44).
get back into handloading ASAP!
This is all "for the post new job startup" and AFTER I improve my living arrangements;along with canine companionship(clock back in with dru.org or pbrc.net-good folks there!)
