HORRID

is it just me or is there a special effects shot from dead or alive in the serenity the 10th character featurette where the serenity is hovering over a forest and shines a spotlight down. I don't remember that shot from any other episodes but I could be completely mistaken

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

The shot of Serenity hovering, shining a spotlight down is from the episode "Safe".

"May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one."

Sorry to renew this post, but what does it mean when it says (beat) in a script? Also, something written like is in Chinese, right? And (O.S.) means Out of Sight? Maybe a legend-type thing would help.

No, it means a pause in conversation or physical expression, I do believe.

Like saying something to someone and then realizing that what you said was very, very wrong. Such as: "Wow, you look alot better now that you aren't a crackwhore anymore." (beat) "ummm..."

Oopps, quick edit. OS means off screen if I'm not mistaken.

Jayne: "How big a room?"

A (beat) is a unit of time - to denote a pause to be taken in the line.

O.S. is "off screen"

"I threw up on your bed"

Thanks, that helps a lot. Though I misstyped my original question. I meant to say "Things like are in Chinese, right?"

Crap, it won't show greater than, less than signs. You know, when you hold down shift and press the period/comma keys? Phrases like that are Chinese, right?
