HAKEN

Likes to mess with stuffs.

Interesting things are happening between Rainn Wilson, Nathan Fillion, and DC Comics. The two apparently tweeted about their meetings with DC Comics.

Wilson tweeted, "Could be some good shit percolating.."

Meanwhile Fillion wrote, "Some great shit percolated at a meeting today with @rainnwilson and @nathanfillion. And, I grabbed me a sweet DC Encyclopedia."

Rainn Wilson, if you don't know, is from the popular "The Office" series where he plays the office oddball.

What possible DC property could the two be involved with that requires their specific character archetypes? Any guesses?

Thank you Haken. It's always nice to come here and see the latest news.

I sowish that this was Nathan being cast as the Green Lantern, but I know from a subsequent article in Variety that it's not. :(

But it still sounds fun and more good stuff to see or hear Nathan in is always fine news!

Nathan Fillion AND Rainn Wilson? Teaming up? With DC?

Dear and fluffly lord, I don't care what it's about, I'm already on board.

Well, Nathan did do the voice for Vigilante on the animated series Justice League Unlimited.

The answer to the proposed equation is HILARITY, clearly.

Gonna keep my eye on this.

I have to say that I can totally see those two as Booster Gold and Blue Beetle.

I'd die of geekgasm if that was the case.

Heh, a Blue and Gold movie would be insanely awesome.

I can't think of any other project DC might float that would include them. I mean, Nathan's imminently marketable, but Rainn Wilson? He'd make a great "Jimmy Olson"-style tacked-on sidekick, but I just can't see him as a lead Hero (and the tacked-on sidekicks rarely get this kind of facetime with the management).

Unless they're planning to include them both as supporting characters in the GL movie.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Not sure what those two are cooking up with DC, but whatever it is, count me amongst the interested.
