Okay, i know that not to many have seen this, but i have. And i hope you have,.... Wait, wait, wait, what did i say, not alot have seen it, IT WAS ON FOR 8 FRACKING SEASONS!!! Any way, i like this show, and i hope you did to. One of my favorite parings was one not fleshed out on the show, Jackie/Eric. It's among my favorites in '70's show fan fic. I really thinkn they should have done this in season 8, you know after dude left, and Hyde cheated on Jackie, i mean how do you cheat on Jackie. I really hate how Hyde did it to, he got married to a stripper, and brought her to the basement, and it turned Donna into a bitch, but we all knew she was. (Digital eye wander, eyebrow raise.)

I love this show. I grew up watching it, and it was something both my dad and I could enjoy forever. By the time I finished season 8 on DVD I realized I had been watching this show for ten years, and I was really sad to see it go. That being said, it did start to lose some steam near the end. But I still love it and can still watch the reruns whenever they're on.

But no, Jackie and Eric should never gotten together. They way they interacted with a bit of disgust but acceptance towards each other was perfect just the way it was.

STOWEAWAY

Actually what I wanted to see explored was the fact that Red actually seemed to appreciate Jackie.
There was that episode when Eric went to work with his mom. And Red stayed home to work on the car. Jackie came over & nobody was around so she helped him with the car. And he was shocked because she could actually hold a flashlight properly.
I wanted to see him secretly accept her the way Mrs. Foreman took in every other cast member that was a stray.
I still watch it in syndication on late-night TV. Never gets old and always good for a laugh-out-loud.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Liked the show right up until Eric left. Then it was like Happy Days without Richie.

In its' heyday it was one of the best shows on the tube. I grew up during those times, wore those clothes, had that hair, smoked that herb, etc., and this show was quite accurate in its' portayal of the times. It was a show that could make me laugh out loud like an idiot, something that's pretty rare for me....the laughing part, not the idiot part.

Is the correct answer.

It was never the appointment viewing but I always watched if I could.

Ah!!!! but on the Jackie/Eric part, HAVE YOU EVER HEARD THE SAYING, "OPPOSITES ATTRACT" I THINK NOT. Even with there interactions in the show, i think they in a way truly cared for one another, i mean look at it, they were always there when no one else was for one another. I think the biggest reason why they battled back and forth, was they where the only ones to see beyond the multiple masks they put up, and saw what the other truly felt. That and both were the only ones that where not as deep in the group, i mean Jackie started out as the outsider, and just gradually fell in by the end of the show, and the fact that Donna was a bitch, and Eric was kind of a wuss but he was always there when his friends needed him the most.

All in all, don't knock the Jeric until you try it, and yes just like Jameron, (John & Cameron), Jeric is (Jackie & Eric), so there!

Jackie Eric

I will and can knock it. And I can do so without using all caps. I believe that people of the opposite sex can be close with having to have sex. When the norm on TV is for everyone to have sex with everyone else, it's nice to see it not played out this way every now and then.

BORIS

the show declined after Eric and Kelso left. the dynamics between the remaimning characters never really picked up and some of the new characters were just lame.
