[EDIT: Fingers crossed that things go well for you two tomorrow. (Not sure why you're confused though NVG.) BTW, it's too late to re-think that parenting thing you should have done that 10 months ago.

...no MsA, no slapping of teh neko!

And Zeek -- when you're the one carying the lil' bean, we'll let you determine how the rules of the baby pool goes....until then...*raspberry*]

DAMN I have got to pay attention to the log in... it's MsA obviously:)

LOL ... ok excited, but mostly so worn out and so uncomfortable it's not really registering. Now tomorrow when they're hooking me up to i.v, spinal block needle, and the 4-5 other things I'll be attached to I might get a bit panicky....

Boy am I in a pissy mood. Stupid forms to fill out really annoy me apparently.

I had to fill out a form to get my phone and directory information transferred when I switch offices for my new job. One of the things they wanted to know was the "wall jack ID for the ethernet port". Now how am I supposed to know that before I'm in the new office? So, I put "I don't know" on the form and they said unless I provide the ID they're canceling the request. Eff you jerks! I gave you the office number you should have some database to look it up DIAF!

Next I had to fill out forms for a hearing exam I need to take to work in our lab. They put "IMPORTANT" on the line asking for the facility name and address where I'm schedule to take the exam. Well they never provided me a facility name just an address. How the hell am I supposed to know this "IMPORTANT" info? So, I got pissy on the medical history form.

"Have you now or have you ever had the follow:"
"Dizziness?" - "yes, when I spin in circles"
"Ringing or buzzing in ears?" - "yes, very seldom and only briefly experience ringing ears"
"Have you heard loud, constant noise or music within the last 14 hours?" - "yes, I listen to music in the car" (they never said the music had to be loud)
"Was your hearing previously tested?" - "yes, in grade school"

That's the passive aggressive equivalent of writing "suck it" on the form.

What's a DIAF?

Wait, you're moving offices within the same company, right? Why do you need to go through all that crap again, don't they already have it? (there's probably a 'necessary' reason for this that I'm unaware of, but I don't see why crap like that can't be transferable...whatevs)

Sorry you have to fill out sucky forms >_o

I'm just telling them to DIAF (die in a fire, which sounds particularly painful and deserved ;-) )

And yep same company. That's why it's so annoying. They should really be able to handle this without making it such a pain.

That is why I like watching "Gunsmoke".

Matt Dillon would grab a guy and tell him he is going to jail.

The guy would ask why and Matt would say, "I'll think of that later".

Matt had it so easy.

lolz on the "DIAF" (the boyfriend saw me typing this and said "DIAF?" me: "Die In A Fire" him: "THAT's what that means??"), but for the rest of it--that's dumb.

Traveler: you reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally confused me with the Matt Dillon thing. I was thinking the actor and going "there's no WAY Matt Dillon was in Gunsmoke." But then I looked it up, and I'm ok now.

My brother's coming to town today. I've got the sneaking suspicion that he's got something planned for this visit. He claims it's "just to hang out". I just saw him in late Sept. And I'll see him again in Dec. Why would we need to hang out in between? Hmmmmm...

The only one I see working as an in is the "wait don't drink that". Though the "who was it?" question is a problem. Best you could probably do is "he ran off when he noticed I saw him and was coming over but I had to stop you from drinking that and now he's gone". Then just go right into "here let me get you another drink".

What makes me laugh? My kids! The other day we were getting ready for bed, and my wife was changing our 4 year old boy, as she was pulling off his pants I said, "Turn your head and cough", can't remember why I said it, but he did! The wife and I laughed for 10 minutes straight, while he kinda giggled cuz his parents were freaking out and he wasn't sure why. My 2 year old girl has soooo much 'tude that I aggravate her just to see her put her hands on her hips and let me have it.

Glad the newest browncoat's doing well, sounds like he's gonna be on the fast track for development.
