Starting to get re-addicted to this newest version. It's designed more for online play that the last one (which I don't have), but still, I'm liking the new levels/scenarios and new special infected.

- The Jockey freaks me out! Every time I hear that piano and that laugh I get twitchy.

- our new rule: all witches must die. No more going around them. Then we came to the Sugar Mill.

- at first I wasn't too sure about New Orleans as a location, but now it seems perfect.

- the impound lot is a b*tch

- I like the new guns, the ak-47 especially, but I still want more.

- the dialogue is not as good as the last one imho, but those characters are hard to beat.

ROXYFREEFALL

Woman, you are completely off your nut.

I agree with all of that and would like to add:

~ Bio jars have now taken the place of pipe bombs in my heart

~ Ellis is the man and I really wanna meet his friends, Keith and Dave.

~ Clown zombies in a creepy carnival... do I need to say anything else?

~ My fav way to kill the Witch: Throw a bio jar on her and once she's swarmed set them all on fire.

~ Deaths with blood splatter from melee hits, bliss!

~ Hard Rain = most frustrating campaign EVA!

I *heart* this series. ^^

NAVYSEILS

I would like to add that re-killing a whole bunch of un-dead while RE: Your Brains plays on the jukebox makes me a very happy Navy.

Fwiw - if either of you haven't already I highly recommend The Walking Dead graphic novel.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Walking_Dead

Post-apocalyptic world full of zombies, naturally, but a lot more than that. Robert Kirkman, writer, says he's really using the zombies as a backdrop to tell the story of how people survive, and how far they'll go to stay alive. There are some similarities to the "random family" like Firefly - groups of people that come together and watch out for each other even when they don't like or completely trust everyone. And if you think Joss W. is brutal to his characters, sheesh!
I've read a few comments from fans that mentioned Nathan Fillion as a good cast for the lead character, Rick, and ex-cop now trying to lead his group to any kind of safe place. Bottom line: if you are a fan of character driven stories (and zombies) you'd probably love this series. AND, since it's been out since 2003 there's a lot of story to read!
