We are, of course, obsessed with all things Firefly here (or should be:wink:), but what are your OTHER obsessions? Music? Arts? Dance? Movies? Rock climbing?

MY obsessions are: SF designs/models- The Starship Enterprise, Trek weapons & communication devices, Serenity, Robocop, the Flying Sub, the Lost In Space Robot, Doc Brown's Delorean, etc. Gung Fu- specifically Wing Chun, Tai Chi & Drunken Style. Dark Angel.:evil: Kirk/Spock Trek CHUCK & Rescue Me

Military history. I read about major campaigns and biographies of generals and the grunts. Mostly I read about the American Civil War and World War II, but I have read about other wars.

Funny you should say that. The brake shop down the street from my ex occasionally rents the corner of their lot (right next to the main drag) to folks who wanna sell classic cars - last one was Hudson Hornet, which I drooled over, but could not afford.

And Chris ? Guess what's sittin there right now ? 1971 Mustang Mach I, great shape, classic plates. Could get you a price on it, if ya like, heh heh.

Me, imma wait for a 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda in gloss black with a set of cragar eliminators on it. :biggrin:

Movies - Sci Fi - Fantasy - Horror - British Comedy - Pixar (particularly Wall-E) - Guillermo del Toro (particularly Pan's Labyrinth) - Darren Aronofsky (particularly The Fountain) - Edgar Wright/Simon Pegg - Christopher Nolan - J.J Abrams - Most others too

TV - Lost - Eli Stone - Buffy/Angel - Spaced - Black Books - How I Met Your Mother - Dollhouse - Burn Notice

Books - Harry Potter - realistic scifi and fantasy - Richard Matheson - Christopher Priest

Comics - darkish realistic stuff like Maus - epic art/stories like The Fountain, and - light stuff like Runaways - then also the usual stuff like V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Batman: Hush etc., The Darkness, etc.

Music - the guitar (yes I play) - blues - acoustic rock - folk - soundtracks

Other - Uncharted (series of video games) - scriptwriting / 3D modelling (just started the latter, loving it) - Ginger Beer (relevant? yes. coz I'm obsessed)

Okay, here's my list:

TV Firefly/Serenity Castle-for Nathan of course True Blood and Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse books-but the TV series is MUCH better. Food Network (Ace of Cakes, Diners, Drive-In and Dives, Iron Chef, Chopped) History Channel

Books Any good ones-Just finished "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett They can even make the Apocolypse funny. J.D. Robb's "Death" series-my guilty pleasure

Watching movies and DVDs. Right now I'm in the middle of a Stephen Moyer obsession. Fantastic British actor who was way under the radar until True Blood.

In no particular order:

That show and movie that get mentioned around here on occasion Replica movie/TV props Movies in general (DVD, Blu-ray) Lost Computers (especially graphics related software) Modern Warfare 2 and Forza 3 on Xbox360 Lord Of The Rings (books, films everything) Doctor Who (old and new) Buffy/Angel (I used to be very obsessed but not so much these days)

There are many other things that I really like but I can't say I'm obsessed with them. Like Burn Notice, Castle, music, golf, Family Guy.

I'm about to be obsessed with The Prisoner all over again as I'm getting the DVD set as a late Christmas present in the mail... one of the best things ever put to film. I remember when it was first showed over here, chopped up for commercials on CBS... Then uncut on PBS...:evil:

(avoid the remake at all costs, btw)

Books by Dean Koontz, John Grisham, John Sanford (Camp), David Baldacci, Elizabeth Moon.

Cars like Firehawks.

College Football, BCS - Wisconsin provided the biggest "upset" in Bowl games, meaning the rankings were warped.

Making that easy money in the market.

Can't say I'm really all that obsessive about stuff. I tend to latch onto literally one or two high-quality series, like Firefly or Serial Experiments Lain, and then hang on to those for dear life; but, apart from that, I don't really obsess on many things. Sorry. :)
