Hey all. Sorry for my absence. Stupid Facebook has me hooked (anyone who wants to friend me there, send me a PM and I'll tell ya how to find me LOL).

At any rate, I lost my cell phone Friday during the snow storm that hit Ohio on Friday. Helping a friend whose car slid off the road. At any rate, as you might guess, I had a whole Firefly theme goin' on. Ringtones, sounds the whole 9 yards. Most of that stuff was stored on my work computer. Unfortunately, as some of you already now, I was laid-off/terminated at the end of December and neglected to transfer that stuff home. Stupid me. So I have really lost it all.

At one point someone had posted music taken directly from the show on the forums, but I can't find it for the life of me. Also, at some point, someone helped me with the instrumental music from the pilot when we first see Serenity in action (leaving the derelict ship and ending with a fed saying, "They're rabbiting, sir. Shall we continue deployment?"). If anyone could help me find those threads again, I would be in a whole heap of debt to ya.

(P.S. Send some of that snow out west, we need it because our reservoirs are all dried up. Summer is going to suck if we don't get more precipitation)

Can't help you with the other stuff, but I'm glad to see you haunting these parts again. I've been a bit worried about you. How's the job search coming? Found anything yet? Hopefully some good news coming our way?

Sux about your phone. We take this stuff for granted until we lose it, then WE'RE lost without it!

I lost a computer a few years back (I mean, I know where it is; it just don't work no more.

) Took over 30Gb of music with it. Odd, obscure stuff. Enough that if I let it play and not repeat, my iTunes would have gone on for over 21 days, it said. :)

But hey, you're still kickin', lest you wouldn't be here to tell us about it, eh?

*EDITED TO ADD:
On the job front (and thanks for asking about that too, btw) things are looking up. At least I hope so. I had an interview on January 28th that I thought went extremely well. I came away feeling very good about it and the verbiage they used (though they never really came out and said it) led me to believe that when things fall into place for them within the next few weeks, I'll be the one they call for the job! It was one of those circumstances that everything they were looking for in this new position was on my resume in some form or another, which was very cool.
