THESOMNAMBULIST

Just a few examples:

Nathan: Castle
Morena: V
Gina: 24
Ron: Shark
Alan: Dollhouse
Jewel: Stargate Atlantis
Sean: The Mentalist
Adam: Chuck
Summer: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

The crew have been busy, some more than others (take a bow Adam) but of all the casts work since Firefly I was wondering which shows hit the sensibilities of the faithful on this forum?

I'm a Castle fan ^_^ The chemistry in that show and Nathan's pure awesomeness are win.

Alan as Alpha creeped me out somethin' serious, but he does the creepiness so WELL O_o scary.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Top 3, in this order:

Chuck
TSCC
Castle

Gina was also in a couple of eps of FlashForward and hopefully she'll show up again.

Nathan: A tossup - Castle or Buffy (I loved his evilness as Caleb)
Morena: V
Gina: Standoff
Ron: Dirty Sexy Money
Alan: Arrested Development
Jewel: Wonderfalls
Sean: The Mentalist
Adam: Angel
Summer: The 4400

Oh. I was listing my favorite work from EACH cast member since the show ended. Of the above, Chuck and Castle are by far my favorites, at least of the ones still on the air.

FEARTHEBUNNYMAN

Nathan: Drive
Morena: V (and Our House, where I got to see her perform live)
Gina: Gossip Girl (oh yes.)
Ron: Lakeview Terrace
Alan: Death at a Funeral
Jewel: Wonderfalls
Sean: Living Til' the End (though he was cute as a button in Wedding Wars in a nice unstereotypical role)
Summer: TSCC (and she was funny as herself in BBT)

my favourite performances of Nathan's since Firefly are Caleb, Captain Hammer, and Luke Reilly in "Outing Reilly". One scene in particular where his character leaves a message on his brother's answering machine moves me to tears whenever I watch it. I don't cry very often so that's pretty telling about the power of the performance. I do relish the darker mysterious side of Castle you see every now and again, e.g. the time he accurately hit the target at the shooting range while barely looking at it.
My fave Alan Tudyk performances are creepy dude on CSI, and freaked-out-on hallucinatory-drugs-dude in "Death at a Funeral" the first character is chilling the latter jaw achingly tongue bitingly funny.
I also saw a brilliantly executed comic performance by Morena in a short lived show called Kitchen Confidential. We are still waiting to see V in Australia...it will be on after the cricket and the winter olympics...I soooo hate Cricket.

Personally, the ones I have enjoyed most were Nathan in Slither, and...well, Nathan's voice work in Wonder Woman.

Also really dug Alan and Summer on Dollhouse.

Looking forward to checking out Alan in "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil". That one looks fun.

I like it when the Poms win the ashes. it gives me a faint satisfaction because I'm sick of Australian cricketing arrogance. :-).

Stand Off really annoyed me. What an incredible waste of incredible talent. I was really excited when I saw Gina and Ron Livingston were in it, but then I watched and was disappointed. I felt the material did not in any way match the abilities of the cast.

LWAVES

Summer: TSCC
Nathan: Castle
Jewel: Stargate Atlantis
Summer: The 4400
Adam Baldwin Chuck
Nathan: BTVS
Adam: Angel

With honourables to Summer in Mammoth and Dollhouse, Nathan in Waitress and Slither, Alan in (well) everything, Mark Sheppard in BSG and everything else.
Morena was okay in V but the show still needs to prove itself IMO.

I can't say that I've seen the others in anything much. I've thought about giving The Mentalist but have never got around to it.

I enjoyed Slither. I think it's one of those films that passes people by for some reason. Nathan is funny in it, and the dark humour is brilliant, and the grotesque make-up is hilarious!

Part of it is just that the horror/comedy hybrid is traditionally a tough sell. At least theatrically. Zombieland was the first one to be considered an actual hit in a couple decades.

Wow!!! You're very refreshing for an Australian. My girlfriend can't stand cricket - yet even she gloats when Australia wins?!

Yeah it is a tough sell.

I saw Zombieland last week. I was really into it until

Select to view spoiler:

Bill Murray was brought in

It took me right out of the film, and after that I just couldn't get back into it. Some nice effects though.
