Hey everyone, I'm currently working at an independent studio and am trying to figure out some names for a politically driven game. I figured it would be great opportunity to gather feedback from other users of this forum to help identify a name for a game that has a potential future.

Please help and click the link below to survey some questions. You never know, it may be the name of a future release you might enjoy! Thank you for your time.

I liked "Empire & Republic" - it gives the feel of old Rome, and gives you the contrasts between the two political forms they tried, so it makes it VERY political, in my view.

Might want to cross-post this to Real World Event Discussions, though, just to get a better cross-section of politically-driven folks.

I filled in your questionnaire.

But to summarise neither of the first two names sounded political at all.
Project Foundation sounds like all those other Project X, Project Origin type title that have been used before. Foundation made me think of Asimov and scifi. If the game has a scifi slant then this may be the one. If not avoid it IMO.
Arch sounds like nothing at all. Arc is better as it hints at a long, intriguing story arc that covers a wide period of time.
Empire & Republic brings two words straight to my mind. Star and Wars. I'd avoid this personally because of that comparison.
That leaves Empire & State which is the only one I can see as standing out as political right from the start. As Kwicko said this has an old feel to it as well.

And in a slightly lighthearted mode you could call it Lies & Corruption. Or something similiar.

And I agree again with Kwicko, a post in RWED would get better responses.
Just beware that there are worse things than dragons in there....

When it comes to Barry, I'd say "The Great Dictator", but that's already taken.

How about "Give me all your stuff"..or

"I own 2 Auto Companys"..or

"The Democrats will buy Congresmen and Senators to pass crappy laws"...or

"Democrats are stupid dictators who want to rule, not govern"
