May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Not JUST a hottie , either...Does anyone else see her as Kaylee-esque ?

I guess this means he's done with that old LoveBot...I'm good with gadgets and electronical stuff...I can have her 'reamed and re-bushed' , right ?

Ok, several replies come to my poor tired brain tonight....

1-Oh so you're good with "gadgets", huh? WELL, I'm good with WOOD work...

2-You wanna do what? Ewww, THAT is something you just cannot clean out of any circuitry...

3-Havin' problems with things that have a pulse, hon? I fix it,'K? Just follow Ol' Misty's advice... >>> Every woman wants to hear AT LEAST once a month that something about them is special (more often during hormonal changes OR when we just spent the last two hours getting dressed),>>> go out of your way to do something nice, even if it's just putting everything down to really talk,>>> and also CHOCOLATE in small quantities can never hurt -so step away from the Lovebot now and try again!

Why's it always gotta be the man showering attention on the woman? I say it's time to reject all the silly courtship double standards.

If your girl is getting bothered by you not showing enough interest or complimenting her enough, maybe she's not the girl for you? All that stuff should come naturally, shouldn't it? And it should be reciprocated. I have it on good authority that GUYS actually like chocolate too.

Television and magazines have tainted our concept of interrelation.

Sweetheart, I have been married 10 years and I can just tell ya that's what it takes to make me happy... You don't even want to know!! what is on the list of things I do to keep my husband happy and I do most of it willingly, because the alternative (for me) is pretty bleak. Relationships don't ever just come naturally, you have to WORK at being nice and keeping the other person fulfilled, because if you don't eventually both people start to take things for granted and then you get in a habit of getting your feelings hurt and it causes a pattern of active resentment. Shit is the only thing that happens naturally in life, you have to work and keep working for the good things in life...

Also, if a compliment and a good conversation is too much, maybe long term relationships aren't good for you... and that's OK I'm sure you'll do fine.

Bah, I'm actually not interested in romance or relationships at all, to the point that I turn down every date offer or advance I've been the recipient of, so admittedly I may not have the best advice.

But I do care about gender equality. And that means both cutting the men some slack in some areas, and promoting women where they're behind in others.

Bytemite, I really do hope you ARE happy. Really.

I also hope that you aren't avoiding having any kind of serious relationship out of fear. That would be ...sad. I could be wrong (and frequently am!) but I keep getting this feeling that you are proud of not being in relationships because it makes you special and maybe even admired in your own social circle for demonstraiting such restraint. I understand you prefer to go your own way and in your own manner. To me it just seems like you are missing out on one of the few truly great things about being human (and there ain't a lot of things). To me a shared orgasm is as close as I'LL ever get to standing on equal ground with the gods and it truly puzzles me why anyone would choose to continually pass up such an experience...It's like going your whole life without seeing a sunset or a great movie or taking a bubble bath... sucha missed opportunity to experience something so strange... and... wonderous...

Squick. Fluid swap. Do you know why no one has ever successfully invented a cerebrospinal liquor exchange machine? Because it's extraordinarily messy, and the survival rate is quite low.

Nah, a relationship would be too much hassle, and slightly irritating/nauseating. I much prefer being on my own than having someone in my damn space all the time. It's a choice I made, back when I was five, and I've never looked back once.

That, and any potential relationship would compromise my security. Look through my papers. Turn me over to The Hunters. Or worse, they'd press the idiot button, and I'd have to abort the self-destruct sequence. Do you know how annoying that is? Loud damn claxons going off, make me near deaf, I'd turn the sound off if that didn't run the chance that it might someday actually BE a do-gooder.

So what did happen when you were five that made you decide not to feel?

That "good authority" is lying to you. I still have twix and milky way's sitting in my pantry from halloween. I can burn through red vines and lemon heads though.

Says YOU, chocolate hater!

Actually, I don't eat much chocolate myself since I went vegan. Someone I know is a big licorice fan, so we usually have some around. I'm fairly non-discriminatory when it comes to candy, though I do have my preferences.

EDIT: Can I have your milky ways? :o It's blasphemy they haven't been eaten yet.
