I just had the most surreal car ride, it felt like I wasn't there, or that someone else was controlling my hands and feet.

It was freaky, and I'm telling myself it was freaky, but I'm not listening. o.o Not having appropriate psychosomatic response. Or am I? I can't tell.

This explains the forgetfulness, the attachment issues... Lots of things. Is there ANY goddamn psychological order I DON'T have?!

Lunchtime!

Did you get into a car wreck, at lunch?

Hope all is well.

Philosophically and metaphorically, I have NO IDEA. Brainwise, it's not unlike a mental carwreck. I came in here, and everything still felt unreal and a little scrambled (and I had a headache), so I posted that to try to get it out of my system.

So, <_< I'm not a good driver, and I avoid it, because it scares the hell out of me. It was, oh, about a 30 to 40 mile drive on the interstate, which I've only been on three times in my life including this one.

I was good and nervous for most of it, you know, tense, white knuckles, bit jittery.

On my way back, I was trying to suppress the nervousness a little better, and then at one point there was a huge semi truck next to me, and I was thinking, okay, going to die, I'm not turning the wheel enough, and then it felt like an outside pressure on my hand, like someone else had grabbed the wheel also, and the car turned, like perfectly. But it was all IMAGINARY. It felt like I wasn't controlling it, but I was. I mean, now I know why people believe in angels and stuff, it seriously felt supernatural.

And it just got weirder from there. I went from suppressing fear to this weird disconnected feeling, not really aware of anything I was doing, and I got back to the office on like pure instinct or something. It was definitely not normal. >_>

Now you're freaking ME out.

I had a similar experience returning from the grocery store, only it was like this strangeass duality, like being in one place and looking into another, combined with something that felt a little bit like a panic attack, something I am not normally subject to, and a almost kind of a double vision thing with two different highways in front me, one of which wasn't I-94 West.

There's still this kinda tenous doubling effect goin on, and it's weirding me out a bit.

Make of it what you will but damn... freaky.

Me thinkith PNews spends waaaaay too much time lookin' up pics...

Strange thing is, I had a sorta similar strangeness happen to me, was a passenger yesterday and had this weird sensation kinda like laying down on the shore and feeling the water rush up and down and it felt like I was suckin' helium, am now thinking based on your and my previous posts that maybe we're both waaaaay overstressed, the kind of overstressed that a latte and an hour of meditation ain't gonna fix...

Well, whatever happened, it left me wiped out, passed out, and woken up with a screamin migraine that's only just beginning to fade, along with a bad case of double vision and vertigo - I hadda have Wendy cover for me at the site last night, in fact, and still ain't 100%.

This video from the University of Calgary thoroughly shows how brain cells degenerate and die when being exposed to mercury. This is the same neurotoxin that is found in vaccines, which has led the the massive increase with people suffering from autism and other neurological diseases (mainly children). Mercury is one of the most toxic substances you can put in a human body. It is a heavy metal known to contribute to neurological disorders, including autism, dementia, and even Alzheimer’s disease. Mercury also tends to build up in tissues in the human body and is not easily removed, so even small exposures to mercury can accumulate over time and end up compromising the health of the person involved. It’s vital you do the proper research before you plan to get any sort of vaccine injected in you especially if you are planning to have your children vaccinated.

I don't take vaccines, and I got all of my dental fillings out over fifteen years ago.

And no, it wasn't drugs either. Just an odd couple of hours.

...Could be fluoride. I've done research on fluoride myself. Binds to fat cells in the brain. Which doesn't seem like much, but then you compare the respective IQ of kids in fluoridated areas versus unfluoridated areas... And this study was in China, the fluoridation in question was natural, so it was nothing to do with a poor area they just added fluoride to, thus meaning the kids were less educated.

I use mouth wash for toothpaste, but they started fluoridating the water around here a couple years ago.

Well, at least your auto-pilot works well.

Beware of the temptations of self-diagnosis. Self-medication is, however, generally a great idea.

I would get attacks while on vacation. If I was away from home more then five days I would high strung. Once I got home everything was fine. My own bed and all the things in my life that made me feel at home. Finally in 1994 I went through the fear and kept traveling farther away. It actually came to an end. I have heard of people who can't leave their house without having an attack. Doctors have to take them step by step out of their homes. Just opening the door is a major effort.

When I was in my early teens I would sweat while sitting in the barbers chair. I have no reason why it started or why it stopped. One day I just noticed I wasn't sweating anymore.

We get fears built inside us that have no logic except in our inner soul. Where they come from, I can't guess. Maybe I saw the film Samson and Dalilah and it effected me. But I doubt it. Some memory we long forgot haunts us and we react to it.

I think autopilot mode is exactly what it is. I tend to go into auto-pilot when allergies are bad. Try taking a Claritin-D next time and see if it helps.

Interesting, Frem, I had some lingering side effects as well, including a headache that wouldn't go away and a loud distracting buzzing.

I spent most of yesterday trying to sleep it off. Vitamins and some tylenol eventually helped with the headache, but the buzzing didn't quit until sometime around three am last night.

have you had any scans done? I've had that happen to me a couple times but I knew what I was doing that caused it, but if I didn't know i would probably start freaking out about a tumor or something...

My mom's had four brain tumors, great-grandmother died of one, so yeah, I've had a scan or two. Never found anything, though my last one was more than five or ten years ago.

not to scare anyone but a headache and vision problems after any episode are potentially serious signs. Could just be recovery from stress of the situation and extra adrenalin etc but I would go see a doctor just in case...again not to scare ya but I had a similar incident 21 years ago and then found out I'd had a mini stroke. Nothing since then touch wood.
also I went through a stage a few years ago where I thought I was having panic attacks, then found out I was having major asthma attacks triggered by regular exposure to mould where I was working at the time.
