I'm sorry if this is old news and I just missed it but What happened to out to the black outfitters?

Their main site is down, but their cafepress site is still up. Did Fox or someone crack down on them?

It's a shame if they did, they had the best patches that I'd seen (was just about to buy 2 more)

Wait, it may be down for awhile then come back up. All sites do that.

well it's been a just over a week at least, since the first time I tried to go on, seems a little long unless it's getting a major overhaul

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Mystery solved! Here is ShinyHappyKlin's answer:

Actually, I am currently in transition. SEBC will be selling under the OTTB banner in the future. I need to formally transfer the domain and files to them (have needed to do that for a couple of months now...such is my life), but I donated ...the name and assets to them to use in future fundraising efforts. Things are just getting too crazy with my dissertation, and needing to focus on the upcoming job search. It's also too hard to afford to stock what I need when sales are slow, and I hate having to keep people waiting for months on the next reorder. I'm not sure if Ren is going to set up an online store like I had or just sell at conventions for now, but yeah, that's where we've gone. We also had our web vendor disappear with no notice, so I haven't actually put the site back up with an explanation of what's happening since we were going to transfer it to SEBC anyhow.

Many of the pioneering vendors of Firefly goods are gone.
I cherish the items I purchased from these folks who made their products available to Browncoats when there was no official outlet or recognition.

Oh well, such is life.
I wish all of them success in whatever ventures they pursue in the future!

Mike
