The only Shan Yu I've been able to find info on was the villain in Disney's Mulan.

Early: You ever been raped, Kaylee?
Kaylee: You know, it's funny you should mention that... ever heard of the Fox network?

Yi know.... i dont think I've ever seen a torture scene in a Disney film.... Perhaps there are deleted scenes on the DVDs.

LOL!

Don't think you will find it in deleted scenes 'Slayer, but it sure would make for an interesting Disney movie, wouldn't it?

I could not find anything online about Shan Yu except the Disney character myself. I believe the Firefly reference to be fictional.

I know I'd heard of him before. He was a general and a philosopher and a psycho. Let me do some research.

Well, there's the mass execution/slaughter scene in Gargoyles.

And the attempted vengeance murder.

And Elisa getting shot.

And Demona ripping a child's face off.

And Hudson losing an eye.

Wo de tien ah, that was an awesome show. . .
