We're less than a few weeks away from filming on Freedom, but we need your help. We've set up a Kickstarter page where you can pledge your support, and we've got lots of great incentives for you.

Whoa hey, you're those guys here in my city. Hmm, I'm at work right now, but I'll give it a look.

Changed the link to the one they say to share. I personally am not a big fan of shortened links, but I hope it works.

Best wishes, I hope you get farther than Courage got, that was a fan show that was going to be made in my city last year, but it didn't end up going anywhere. :( Oh well, hope it goes well.

Some of us working on this were actually part of Courage. It gave us quite a learning experience.

Believe me, this web series will be completed. The amount of support we get from fans will have a lot to do with how smoothly it goes, and how high the quality is. But in any case, we're going to finish.

Hmm, since you're in my city, do you have a place of business I could mail to? I'm not huge on this internet transaction of money stuff. Or I could leave the money in an envelope in a conspicuous location.

I could probably give $50.

Sweet. Thank you. I could meet with you if you'd like, or I can give you my mailing address. We're working on this out of my house. I'll send you a private message.

Who working on this new one worked on Courage? I met some of them through PDX Browncoats and they were nice folk, we visited some, do tell me which ones are working on this and update us often about how its going.

Ryan John McPherson and I were writers on the project. We came in to the party a little late, just in time to see things fall apart. Ryan wrote our pilot episode. (Holy crap he's good. I can't wait for you guys to see it!)

William Pace was a prop designer for Courage. He also designed their web site. Living down here in Utah, I don't think he made it to any conventions up there. William is our director.

William's brother Andrew was contributing some 3d artwork to Courage, which he has offered to us now.

As far as I know, most of the other people involved in the project have moved on. They don't tell me much more than they tell anyone else.

One of their actors is involved in a really awesome web series called Foil Me. It's at youtube.com/user/FoilMeTheSeries .

I was as excited for Courage as anyone else, believe me. And I was really sad to see it fall apart. But it did at least bring some of us together to work on this.

Oh, while we're on the subject, there have been rumors apparently going around that Freedom IS Courage. That's not true. As much as I would like to see someone resurrect Courage, that's not what we're doing here.

I was part of Courage from very early on and I worked side by side (in a digital sense) with Justin Rister on some art design, art and set consultation, the original logos used for advertising, props ideas and the website art (My wife did all of the coding).

Courage was a fun project to work on and it had a lot of promise, but the series was undermined internally by a few unprofessional, aspiring actors.

Live and learn.

Michael really is a driving force behind Freedom. When he decides to do a thing he throws all of his creative forces at it. He's been very careful to handpick the people that he believes will take each aspect of Freedom and make it happen. The writing team alone is doing a great job. From rough drafts to finished scripts it's going to be a great series.
A lot of preplanning, propbuilding, writing, casting, set dressing, and set building have filled up the last four plus months, and my hat is off to the people doing the work.

Wow, thanks William for the kind words. I appreciate that a lot.

I nearly forgot the other help we've had from Courage. Philip De Lorenzo is letting us use some of the music.

And he does great work. His music was one of my favorite parts of the Courage project.

Phillip seemed to like my tradsinging, I wish that had gone somewhere for me.

Hopefully this series gets further.

Oh, and if you need a woman to play a charactor who is touched, like an extra from the academy, I really want to, too bad the series that started in my city flopped, or else I might have faired better and my browncoat group would be involved still with said project. :("A completely coherant River means writers don't deliver" KatTaya

I put my money where my mouth is.
Hopefully more will do the same.
