Ok ill bump the thread.

Well im new to the FFF.net community so I cant really comment on much so far. However it is really nice to talk to you guys. I mean it wasnt so long back I would be watching firefly at home thinking *sigh* I wish there was more to this verse then what I have now and then just going to bed depressed. Now at least I can talk to you guys and know your thinking the same as me.

Hmmmm maybe we need to admit this is a fashionable late comeback...which I guess is stylish to some extent.

Hey DeathPain. Yeah this site is good for sharing in the pain with everybody. Firefly is a great show and it's really sad that we only got a handful of episodes. Nothing has come close to the same quality since IMO. I guess the bright side is Firefly never had time to have a "bad season".

HIMYM bump!

So, who saw the premier? I give it like a 7 out of 10. Spoilers below.

So, we're still stuck with Barney and Quinn's failed relationship to sit through. Now Robin's foreshadowed and also doomed relationship has started with BSG guy. Those should be annoying storylines to sit through.

Then we've got the one doomed relationship I was even slightly interested in with Ted and Victoria and that looks to be a non-starter. The conversation with Clause seems to have put Ted off on restarting that relationship. Even though if we remember back to Ted's first meeting with Victoria it was like love at first sight that Clause was describing. Bah!

Then there's the appearance of the mother at the end. The dimwit decided to stand in the rain with an umbrella rather than move two feet over to be under the giant covered waiting area. What does Ted even see in this short bus riding chick?

Saving grace of the episode was Lily and Marshal having no short term memory at all and Barney's recap of Robin in under 1 minute. Oh and cell phone seduction of Andrea the Giant.

I can't believe this thread is still going. This is not what we expected when we created it. Surely you all have covered all the imponderables there are? Also, I once again (only 7 years later) object to the title. "Imponderable" is not the word we are looking for.

Too late now. It's like trying to change a tradition at this point. Besides it's really easy to search for "imponder" not a lot of other threads with that in the title. :-)
