I know it was somewhat cruel, sorry! But he got many people on the other forum with his little joke so, I thought I'd bring the fun over here.

I have a question, If Adam had actually posted a link to the BDM script would you have read it?

I think I would have.

^Actually I'd have tried my best to avoid reading the script, and even if did give in I'd quickly stop as I can't stand reading large amounts of text on my computer it always gives me a headache.

That's because the Bene Tleilax always give Gholas such crappy eyes.

I've decided that I am going to avoid knowing anything else about the movie than I know now. I'm going to try and avoid all spoilers or anything remotely regarding the plot. I think this is going to involve a lot of running out of rooms/chat rooms when people start talking about it and cinemas when the trailer comes on.

It didn't work with the Buffy finale last year due to my very evil maths class printing out the script and reading it to me in maths and I'm still trying to avoid Angel spoilers as I'm from the UK. But I'm really determined to avoid all firelfly spoilers. Wish me luck.

If it's really you, then I'm sorry Adam, but how do we know ADAM_BALDWIN is the real Adam Baldwin? So it lists his birthday and some really intellectual quotes (if it's really you, that just makes you EVEN sexier, by the way...), but that's it. These days, online anyone can assume any identity. What if it's it's some pastey 30 year old still living in his parent's basement? The possibilities are endless...

Buuuuuut, like I said, if it's the real Adam Baldwin, I apologize. You are not pastey.

The Prospero Firefly board is payed for by Fox, making it the Official Firefly board (the OB as it is referenced to occaisionally in FFF threads). Castmembers that post can be recognised by a little hammer appearing behind their screen names, indicating some sort of moderating function I guess. I lurk there sometimes. Some threads over there are nearly as hilerious as the ones there.

At the moment the fans over there are clammoring for a weblog by the cast, which aparently was the origin of Adam Baldwin's joke. Yup, the real one. Honestly. Apart from Adam Baldwin's post, I've also seen one from a guy called Nathan F. He too has a hammer thingy behind his name so I guess it's the real one as well.

Yes, that's really Adam and Nathan over there. We also get occasional posts from "Affable Chap" better known as Chris(?) Buchanan, president of ME. I got to meet them all at the comic con in LA in December. Great group of guys - even got a hug from AB.

As for the script, yes, I'd read every word. Love those spoilers!

It's amazing what you can get away with when you're the misunderstood actor of a beloved character.

I would have instantly downloaded it to a safe place, then fought myself for a few days until I finally gave in, opened the file, and found...an RNC fact sheet! ;)

Yeah, I would have bookmarked the link, maybe even downloaded it if it had a limited post period. But read it, nope. I won't even watch the trailer but I'll download it from the Web site. Trailers always spoil either from their accuracy (hah!) or misrepresentation. But maybe, if I'd heard Joss had dropped misleads in the trailer, I might watch it because, dammmit, it's been so long since there's been anything new in the Firefly 'verse . . .

nah, i wouldn't have read it (i never understood why people would want to). its getting harder and harder to go into movies blind so that i can actually be surprised by things in the movie. and it won't help that by deliberatly reading the script.

i may read it after the movie is out and i have seen it though.

I love watching trailers. But I hate reading scripts. There's just too much included on a script to make it interesting and worth my while to figure out. So I wouldn't read the script; however, I'd sit in front of a screen (tv, movie, or comp) and watch the trailer(s) multiple times.

Loved Mr. Baldwin's joke.

That is definitely Adam Baldwin. He posts over there all the time. Mostly political threads. Now that I come to think of it maybe we should get Ghoulman and Adam together to debate politics? I'd like to see that conversation.

Nathan Fillion and Chris Buchanan also post over there and from what I have been told the actor that played Badger use to post over there too.

Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I would have tried to hold out & not read it, but eventually I would have broken down & read it.
