May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Adam posted this on the official board last night:

Quote:

Rehearsals are a rockin'!!!

We roll film next week!

Hoo-Rah! :- ) :- ) :- ) !

We had heard first week of June for filming to start, but still nice to hear it from one of our BDHs anyway.

After the last message from Adam on the OB that got relayed to us (the spoiler that wasn't), I half expected this to be something like "the word from Adam Baldwin is . . . 'daffodil.'" Like a word-of-the-day thing.

Thanks for the good news.

Maybe he'll venture out of the political threads a little more and chat with us, now that the movie is all but rolling. Have you read any of them? And they told me "stick your toe in the water, we won't bite!" Ha!

Agreed... the layout there is so difficult to use.

That said, I just spent an intriguing half hour reading some of Adam Baldwin's political posts. I may not entirely agree with him, but he's certainly an articulate & well-informed chap. Normally when actors start having 'opinions' I switch off - not that actors aren't entitled to their opinions, obviously, I just object to the ones who think theirs are important because they're famous. Glad to see Adam isn't like that. It's refreshing to see someone who can argue his points well. Score another one for Firefly. :-)

On a related note: woohoo! I love the fact that he's keeping us (sorta) informed!

I have always been impressed w/ Adam's posts in the off topic area. He is incredibly well spoken, and keeps abreast of all things political, so he can back up his points.

I guess I'm the only one not in the know, but where would I find his political posts? I haven't quite figured out how to navigate the other board.

Any clues would be appreciated.

Click on 'Advanced Search' and you get a range of search options. Go to the drop-down menu next to "FROM", and select 'ADAM_BALDWIN', and your search timespan. It then brings up the most recent of his posts in the left-hand sidebar.

Hope this helps!

Same here. but most forums have their faults, some more then others. (the fireflymovie.com/ forums look so damn dark on my system i can hardly read the posts. plus the fact alot of forums don't take people with older or less advanced browsers into account (or that some have smallish caches *eyes the ever changing pic in the left corner of the page*))

though OB would be great if not for the frames.

Raptor:

Just went over to fireflymovie.com forums for a peek. Looks pretty dead. But I did get a giggle out of FFFn regulars over there positing my theories of Book/General Richard Wilkins, although they kind of blew the evidentiary details...

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, according to the old adage.

The OB is full of more one word posts and tomfoolery than can be reasonably withstood by a mature human being. I like that we keep things within some boundaries of rational discourse here at FFFn.

Thanks so much!! I found it. Can't say he and I agree on too many political issues, but it was fun to read. Thanks for the help!
