Saw that last night, already squeeing over the Joss interview to come. Have you seen the formal portraits? Priceless.

I want a throne/desk-chair with a peacock back made of remote controls on sticks!!!

The band played and sang the first verse of the Ballad Of Serenity when Joss walked out.

Fallon mentioned Firefly as one of Joss' achievements.

A clip of "Much Ado About Nothing", with Fallon praising Nathan Fillion.

All in all, a fun night!

Watched it all over again just now.
Rockefell.
JF's dog Gary with him when he gets off elevator.
Higgins coughs when JF checks out the two balls around his neck.
A. D. Miles as Prince Firecrotch.
That chair/throne I covet.
The Roots and others lined up in the hallway (this must be where the budget got a little thin) getting pigeon-mail.
JF dressed in all the Daenerys blonde hair, with peacocks.
(i am so glad he shaved; the beard was beyond horrible)

Joss appreciating the Roots, who always have the right entrance music.

It's a running thing on the JF show: Downton Sixbey, Real Housewives of Late Night, Jersey Floor, Late, 7th Floor West, and so on. Most of the guys are part/former actor anyway, and they are nuts, so why not let it hang out?

BTW I mentioned the bare hall scene to a big GoT fan and she said no, that was perfect - - no scenery needed. Found a comment elsewhere to that effect as well. I'll be a fan when I can get the whole box and plug it into the computer here (no TV, gorrammit) and then I'll get more of the jokes.

JF is in no way deprived by his format, it seems to me. Acting, dancing, wild-ass rock-n-rolling, stupid games, just about anything other than long-form interviews if he wants to do them. Networks are afraid of frightening their audiences. Craig Ferguson did a full-lengther with Stephen Fry last week and had to come out first and apologize for it.

Please forgive typos for the next couple of months. I had eye surgery a few months back and we need to let it cook a while before I get corrective lenses. I am often nose-to-screen trying to figure out what I've written, then sometimes remember I can use CTRL and the mouse-wheel to re-size. Or I don't, and the mess multiplies. Heh.
