I dunno. I liked the movie, I just don't know if there's enough there to support a show. Maybe if they only get bits of info and have to hunt them down a bit more? And what kind of climax point for the overall story could you even have?

And let me guess- the female lead will have blonde wavy hair, perfect boobs, and be a size two? Oh, snooze...

SECOND

The Joss Whedon script for Serenity, where Wash lives, is Serenity-190pages.pdf at https://www.mediafire.com/folder/1uwh75oa407q8/Firefly

I liked the comment about Minority Report's surveillance technology:

I know that I look fetching in my tin foil hat but, as the piece says, some of this is already here; and that nice Rupert Murdoch's media company can then reinforce the narrative in its "newspapers", slowly bleeding the idea into the popular consciousness that this approach to crime, if not ostensibly desirable, is the way things are going so get used to it. Far-fetched? Quite a few times, on U.S. news programmes when discussing terrorism - or even on the floor of the House during debates - politicians have referenced Jack Bauer in '24' when talking about the need for more restrictions and the loss of more rights, as if he was a real life example.

No, the opposite of perfect boobs - plastic boobs. When is the last time you saw a TV show? Non-plastic boobs are soooo not Hollywood.

Oh, and please don't feed the troll in that marketing thread. Spammer. spamspamspamspamspam

When you reply to the spambot, you only bumped his thread up in the que. It is almost off the window of most recent posts by now.

Yes, I know. It's slow season anyway, until Xmas break. At least replying makes me feel like I'm doing something, instead of just pestering Haken.

I have been known to tilt at windmills on occasion When you are surrounded by windmills, WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO DO??
