Wanna help get a REAL spaceship named SERENITY?

Take Back the Sky is a group of Browncoats who have been actively trying to convince SpaceX to name their first manned Dragon spaceship (which they plan to use to replace the space shuttle) after SERENITY. They have a new petition asking Elon Musk (founder and CEO of SpaceX) to announce the name at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. If you'd like to sign the petition, you can find it here:

Also, Take Back the Sky encourages Browncoats to write letters to both Elon Musk and SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell (who admits to being a Browncoat), asking them to name the ship SERENITY. For those who don't consider themselves to be the best letter writers, they suggest you simply send them a leaf in the mail with a little note that says, "Name the Dragon SERENITY, and watch how she soars."

This is a really shiny idea! The Trekkies got the first space shuttle named Enterprise. Come on, Browncoats-- let's unite and get a spaceship named for SERENITY!
