Well, I was browsing buffy.nu as I often do, when I came across something that is said to be some production art from the BDM:

What interests me about this is the fact that the first two things on this compilation feature katakana...uniquely Japanese characters. Considering the complete lack of Japanese influence (that I noticed anyway) from the series, I was wondering if this might mean that it's going in a somewhat different direction in terms of the Asian influence. Anyone have any thoughts about this?
