Hi everyone! I breed Japanese Bobtail cats, and I named the five kittens of my most recent litter after the Serenity crew: Zoe, Wash, Mal, Kaylee and Inara.

Has anyone else named pets after Firefly characters?

Awww cute! No firefly, but my kitty kat is named "Angel" after the vampire. He is all black, grooms like mad, and has insane fangs, i thought it was fitting.

We named a foundling kitten, Malcolm, when we saw his stripe patterns made a distinctive "M" on his forehead! He's now five months old!
