Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for
an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress,
nonaddictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday,
practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion
of your choice, or the secular practices of your choice, with respect for
the religious or secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their
choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

May you have a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically
uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar
year 2005, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other
cultures whose contributions to society have helped make the world great,
and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability,
religious faith, political belief, choice of computer platform, or sexual
preference of the wishee.

By accepting this greeting you are accepting these terms. This greeting is
subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no
alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to
actually implement any of the wishes for herself or himself or others, is
void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of
the wisher. This wish is under warranty to perform as expected within the
usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the
issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and the
warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish
at the sole discretion of the wisher.

Great greeting Annik!

Being from England, it sounds like something our Labour government would put in their official Christmas cards - that is, if they believed in Christmas!!

Happy Christmas to all fellow "flans"

I would like to join in and wish everyone a Merry Mithras

(The Persian/Roman deity Mithras being incarnated in human form on Dec 25th 272BC and being the real origin of the holiday )

Methinks someone fears the lawyer... Of course it'd be better if it was a 'copyleft' version. Holiday greetings -- like Information -- want to be free, too...

Merry Christmas! Say 'hi' to The Big Guy for me at mass tonight. Tell Him "I'm alive and doin' fine"...

All the folks from the board are in my prayers, but you -- mother and child -- are at the top of my list.

Merry Christmas in 10 minutes. And anyone who doesn't like the implications of the Christ in Christmas can look at my tagline.

Seriously, though. I hope everyone has a most excellent day tomorrow.

Merry Christmas all!

I'm just sitting here winding down after a lovely Christmas Eve with the extended family. It's always nice to be reminded of what I cherish most about the Holidays: happy children.

Now, I'd like to sing my favorite Christmas Carol, "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear," but this isn't really the right medium. So, for those you know the tune, you'll just have to use your imagination.

Peace on Earth. Goodwill to everyone.

Possibly in a secular manner, as I'm certain Kaylee wouldn't let it slip, but Captain Grinch might want to keep it without any religious overtones.

If it were me, out in the black, I'd make darned certain I'd celebrate Santa Lucia, with all the girls in candles, etc.

Same here, except I think I fell in to the children category too, waking up at 6:30am. I was so excited for my son who had no clue what was happening today. It was so cool to see him figure out there was fun stuff behind that wrapping paper!!!

Hope everyone had a Happy Holiday!
A toast to the Browncoats!

Hehe. I can so hear Kaylee saying that.

My Christmas was fun. And tiring. And kinda depressing at times (very old relatives who might not be around next year).

Hope everyone had a good one!
