REZLEOG2

Hello, everybody. I just want to express my appreciation to Haken and all the members of this site. I have been visiting for some time now, but haven't really participated much (not enough hours in the day). This is far and away the best Firefly site I have come across.

I first discovered Firefly while looking for US TV episodes to download off the net. At the time I was working five weeks at a time in Saudi Arabia, and fun and enjoyment is not legal there. So I would look for shows to download to my computer and watch once there. I have always been a big science fiction fan (since I was a kid) so Firefly caught my eye. I downloaded and watched "The Train Job" and was totally blown away. I thought "Wow, finally, a FANTASTIC SF show on TV!!!" But then I wondered to myself "Why haven't I heard of this show, except on the net? Why don't I know when it's on???" Then someone messaged me with "Get it while you can, I think they are about to cancel it". Well, you can imagine the anger and sadness, I know you all felt it too.

Anyway, I have done my best to turn on as many people as I could, and succeeded quite well, thank you. I lost track of how many DVD sets I gave out this last Christmas, and I brightened many other lives with Firefly before that.

So, I just want to thank everybody for making this site a place I can go and feel like Firefly is still alive, which I truly believe it is.

But hey, you know what?? Firefly wasn't the only series that happened to me in such a fashion. I'm sure a lot of you have heard of "Wonderfalls"....
(I succeeded in downloading all the episodes, and have turned many on to it, too.)

Thanks again!!!

Does this mean that I can only count on one-fifth of you to help when they come for us?

Technically, it's from 'Blazing Saddles'. The addition of "C'mon in!" is the giveaway, which the MC from 'Cabaret' never says. You get points for recognizing the original source, though. In here, life is beautiful!

Knew I should've seen Blazing Saddles when we had the movie. ^_^ Yay, I have points! I love that original song, though.

You haven't seen 'Blazing Saddles'?! Shudder, gasp! If you tell me you've never seen 'Young Frankenstein' either, I'm not sure we can be friends, even if you are an incredibly big mute.

I'm afraid you fail to understand, even if a mute is sent to a blind man they can still be friends. Though it is best for the mute to pour the soup and light the cigars.

To hold against her the fact that she has been deprived of such joy and the endorphins that only laughing till you have to gasp for air can bring is wrong.

She has clearly already had a hard life, and you must give her support so that when she is finally able to partake in the enlightenment that is those movies she will not be a broken shell, but instead a human being with a functional soul.

You're right, Cynic, I will try to overlook Perididdle's glaring shortcomings. For now. But she's on notice.
By the way, I wasn't saying that a mute and a blind man can't be friends. Obviously, they can, especially if the blind man plays the violin. I was saying that an incredibly big mute and I might not be friends if the mute was pig-ignorant about one of the funniest movies of all time.
