Okay, not really really. I'm watching Comedy Central's new show "Con" and the main guy goes to talk to homeless people to learn to be homeless. The head homeless guy he talks to is wearing a maroon shirt that says: "Joss Whedon's FIREFLY"

I found it funny.

I have heard of a place where humans do battle in a ring of Jell-O.

Any publicity we can get is good.

This is the most brilliant form of advertising ever.

Who's up for sponsering Firefly shirts for the homeless? They're like little walking billboards.

Some might think that exploiting the homeless in order to promote a movie is crass. We don't want to offend the audience we're hoping to entice.

Giving away t-shirts isn't considered exploitation in my book. Heck companies have given me their t-shirts and I wear them around as advertising and I'm not even homeless.

And the star of the show reminds me increibly of Alan Tudyk in appearance and mannerisms.

Yeah I saw that, too. Looked like it was from the era of the show, what with the big F*x logo on the sleeve. Still, if it got even one person to check out the show, it was a victory.

I don't think anyone was exploited. What I think happened was that the guy was picked randomly and he just happened to be wearing a Firefly T-Shirt. Purely coincidental.

They have a clip if it on comedy central, but I didn't see a firefly shirt, unless its the grey and yellow one that is dirty the guy is wearing.

Keep shiny!

Jak, I know that it was a coincidence for that one man to be wearing a Firefly T-shirt. My concern was that it would appear exploitative if we turned one homeless man into a campaign. That's just my feeling about it.
