I'm thinking about doing an ad in Variety thanking Universal and Joss for Serenity... as most of the browncoats know this isn't gonna be cheap.

Is there any interest in doing this? Let me know!

First welcome to the site.

Glad to see you here. I am going to presume even though you're new here you're not new to the 'Verse.

We discussed doing a Variety ad and even had a Browncoat looking into doing it, had all the prices and what we needed to do but just felt like we may not have enough time to do the fund raising.

Of course all ideas are welcome and if you can figure out how to do this on such short notice that'd be shiny!!

I'd never discourage a Browncoat.. which is good cuz they usually can't be discouraged.

Possibly it can be a thank you at the first year anniversary of the release of the DVD in the US?

I was concerned about the time span, but I have extreme faith in the browncoats. ;)
