Any Ideas On How I Can Promote the Firefly Marathon Coming Up?

I'm quite new here at Fireflyfans and I was wondering if there are any ways I can help promote the upcoming firefly marathon on the UK Sci-Fi channel other than word of mouth. The Marathon runs on the 28th & 29th April. Details can be found at

and then by clicking on the link "View all showings" just above our captains head.

I have mentioned the marathon over in General Discussions and told some friends about it but I really want to make the most of the rare appearance of the BDS on TV.

Any ideas would be appreciated,

I would see just who is in your area. Working locally as a team does wonders for inspiring ideas that work on that scale. Personally, for the movie, I made many, many t-shirts with the logo and gave them away, or tried to coordinate us wearing them on a same day, so the sheer volume works to get people questioning what was going on. I also got one of those stamp kits and stamped darn near ever dollar bill with the word Serenity and the release date. Not too many pieces of paper or emails failed to go out without the logo. A friend ran off thousands of fliers and another got time on the free spot for community news.

The list can be endless. So, you can get a group together make promo stuff, and hit where ever and whenever you can. College and universities are excellent places to start.

Oh, yeah, over here, we can now make our own postage stamps with our own images. I made a whole lot for Firefly in general. LOL.
