Actually, you did apologize to me pretty quickly. Twice. But you didn't remove the original insulting post and I still think you're a dick. Not because I "offend too easily" but because it's true. I don't get offended all that easily, in fact, but I am a strong believer in not saying anything if you have nothing nice to say. Or even somewhat neutral. Something not completely rude, anyway. Also untrue just for the sake of being rude and nasty. Not sure if you just decided to pick on the first female on that thread or if you had seen posts from me that said I love my body and just couldn't resist attacking that; either way, it was unwarranted. Which you did say yourself at one point.

That, my friend, is a badass story and author. I could see why he's not for everybody though. It's a pretty tough read for most of the people who only read stuff on the bestsellers lists. Not as tough a read as Shakespeare, but not exactly Dr. Seuss either.

I don't want River banned. I think River is amusing. I especially like the sneak attack killings. Full of imagination. I LIKE River.

But River, you have to understand that words on a screen CAN hurt. Just as those words hurt you. We put our pictures and our innermost thoughts into this forum, because we feel secure that the other shiny people will respect that we have opened ourselves up. When you say mean and hateful things, or make fun of the pictures, you ruin that. You take the trust and the vulnerability and take advantage of it.

Stay River, and understand that you DO have friends here and that those friends care - but you have to care about those friends.
