Just an FYI for those looking for good, reasonably detailed info on any of the following stuff. I just got this in the mail today and have barely had time to skim through it so far.

Three pages full of english to chinese phrase translations... I recognise some from the show so I'm assuming at least most if not all of them are here. No phonetic info so just this book won't really help you learn to say them properly, but any good english to chinese dictionary should do the trick for proper pronunciation info.

Character descriptions of the crew and some characters from the movie plus some extras made up as NPCs for the game.

Descriptions of the various guilds, etc. that can be found in the 'verse.

A map of the system: 45 or so listed planets with descriptions for almost 30 of them...

Some prety cool diagrams and floor plans of Serenity and some other ships I don't really recognize. There are plenty of pics from the movie and the hover-mule is shown in the cargo bay floor plan so those ships might be from the movie and I just don't remember them or simply made up for the game only.

Loads of descriptions of items used by various crew plus lots more stuff that can be found in the 'verse that would be usefull to an adventurer.

Some back history and stuff about how the 'verse got to be the way it is (written by the victors o'course, but still...).

If you havn't seen the full TV series, there are probably loads of spoilers. I'm guessing it's written with the idea that many players will have only seen the movie and possibly not even that.

The Firefly roll playing game manual has been out for a while.

There is a link from the home/main page here at fireflyfans.net to buy it from Amazon.com (as well as links to other Firefly related goodies).

Look over in the top left corner for the yellow link to "The Serenity Role Playing Game". Buying through that link, a small % of the money comes back to help run this website.

You can also look for it at game stores (rare but possible to find) and on E-Bay as well.
