It would certainly be both good exposure and steady pay. Hope it happens for him.

From the Hollywood Reporter:

Emmy winner Dana Delany might be co-starring on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" after all, and she might be joined on the hit dramedy by Nathan Fillion and Lyndsy Fonseca.

Delany, who reportedly was the first choice for the role of Bree but turned down the pilot, as well as "Drive" star Fillion are in talks and Fonseca is in negotiations to join the cast of the ABC Studios-produced “Housewives” next season as regulars.

Delany and Fillion would play a woman and her much younger husband who move to Wisteria Lane with the woman’s daughter (Fonseca).

If you'd like to send messages of support to ABC to help give Nathan's addition to the show support here's where to do it.

At least it's not on FX . I have never been interested in that show, but I'll give it a shot if he's on it. Maybe he'll get the exposure he deserves as an actor, and as one of our BDH's.

So who is he?
He's my husband.
Well who in the damn galaxy ain't!

This would be HUGE exposure. Exposure of Nathan Fillion is specifically what we need for Firefly to grow. I had never even heard of Firefly until James Gunn mentioned that Nathan Fillion was in it when I was watching the extras on the Slither DVD. I enjoyed Nathan's performance so much I decided to check out Firefly. Seriously, Nathan being on Desperate Housewives is P to the E to R to the Fect for our universe to grow and, it could happen we know thanks to Farscape, be renewed again...

Yeah. This is what we would call "upward mobility". Being added to the cast of one of the biggest shows on the air now will be a huge plus. Also,k it would give me another reason to watch the show.

Yes, I admit I actually watch the show on a regular basis. More for the black comedy than the soapy angle. Plus, Bree is almost like my Mom in real life, so I'm drawn to the show like I'm drawn to MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE in that it's like I'm watching some parallel universe version of my family.

You have to admit, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES is a boon for genre actors to break out of the genre ghetto. You got Lois Lane, Agent Cooper, two Alliance officials and god knows how many other genre actors on there. The casting directors on that show must be huge geeks to be able to pull all that off.

And it just occurred to me that three of our BDH's now have series. Nathan with HOUSEWIVES, Adam with CHUCK, Jewel with the small bit on STARGATEZ; ATLANTIS and Summer in THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES. If only STANDOFF wasn't canned, then there'd be four. Mind you, I don't think Gina will be out of work anytime soon. Her and Alan seem to get steady work. Ron's pretty much retired, I think. Thus Morena and Sean seem to be the only ones collecting unemployment.

"And it starts with a sentence that might last a lifetime, or it all might just go down in flames. If I let you know me, then why would you want me? Each day I don't is a shame. Each day I don't is a great shame."

Morena is working on the SG-1 movie and on "Heartland" currently.

Sean worked on a movie in 2006.

All of our BDH's are working steadily, if not in the limelight.

Nathan being on DH is a boon for him and us.
No doubt.
I'll be watching!

He's already listed in IMDB in an episode called "Now You Know," which I assume means the deal is solid. Go Nathan!

Okay, a lot of people probably heard about the "graduate from med school in the Philippines" comment which made the whole country seethe with anger (actually a lot of people did more than just seethe...), but I didn't realize that the doctor in the scene was the Cap'n.

In the style of Mal first realizing who the counselor was: Huh.
