2001 brings us some new opportunities and some new news. There are still some outstanding orders we have left to tally, but at current count, with your support, we have moved 1962 DVD's. Orders placed between 12/18 and now will be packaged and shipped 1/15/11. Look for a big announcement to come out around 1/15/11.

I wanted to take a moment and thank the Browncoat/Firefly Community for making Browncoats: Redemption a finalist in the 2011 Mashable Awards for Most Creative Social Good Campaign. This is the first time a fan film has been included and they used the clips of the interview between John Patrick Barry, who played James Banks III, and Adam Baldwin as well as the #IamaBrowncoat of Nathan Fillion as our clip for the finalist announcement. A nice cheer was given when we were mentioned. TwitChange ultimately won the Mashable Awards category for Most Creative Social Good Campaign, but we were in good company.

We are currently nominated for a Shorty Award for #charity. You can nominate us through the link they provided for us http://shortyawards.com/browncoatsmovie. A tweet that does not give a reason, write it after “because…”, for the nomination will not be counted. Be as creative as you want with the reason within 140 characters. Nominations run through the end of January 2011. You only need to vote once, but we could use your help getting the word out.

We're less than 8 months away from the close of the project and have done amazing works so far thanks to you.
