film-book.com made an article titled : 18 Things you didn’t know about Firefly.

I'm sure most of these things were known from fireflyfans.net readers, this is why i changed the title of the news :)

Side note : still image of Firefly where you see Zac Efron playing young Simon Tam and Skylar Roberge playing young River Tam. You'll notice that the actress's first name 'Skylar' was also the first name of Summer Glau's character in her recent guest apperance in Alphas s01ep07 'Catch and Release'. I'm not sure it's an Estear egg though but Skylar's daughter name, Zoe, might be on the opposite.

Skylar Roberge www.imdb.com/name/nm1711263/ born July 13, 1994, is now 17, the age River Tam was in Serenity. For Serenity 2, hypothetically, she could replace 30 year old Summer Glau, born July 24, 1981. I know it is sacrilegious, but there comes a day in every actress's career where she can no longer play a teenager convincingly, even for Summer Glau.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I think the only one of those things I didn't know was that Universal anticipated Serenity to cost $100 million. If they had been a bit more forward thinking they could have had a trilogy for that price.

I was right, you didn't learned much ;)

I'm a fan but not to your level; i watched Firefly after i discovered Summer Glau in TSCC like plenty of people. You cannot imagine the number of fans who have followed the same path.

I'm an old Whedon fan though; i was catching up with the first seasons of Buffy on DVD at the time Whedon went to Firefly. I thought western in space was not for me and so did i miss Firefly (and Summer Glau).
