If you've seen the Battlestar mini-series then you've noticed that during sex the cylons' spines glow. A lot. So, if you think about that a little longer, you would assume that Baltar would notice, while sleeping with Six, one would just assume.

Not to mention, the Chief/Boomer relationship. Do you really think that these two long, deep, intimate relationships only ever had sex in the missionary position, with the lights on, in the daytime? Someone would be able to see the glowing. The red glow. The BRIGHT red glow, maybe. But I am just assuming.

So the most effective Cylon detector would be (how can I put this delicately... oh hell, I can't...) doing everyone in the fleet from behind?

The bonus being this new test could be conducted in 1/60th the time of Baltar's current Cylon test method.

Drawback... someone has to notice the red spine phenom before they can think to test for it via good ol' fashioned ruttin' (but it'll be a fun fleet once they do think of it! Boy Howdy!)

PS: I imagine that sex with the lights off would work for testing purposes... but does that truly turn anyone on?

Aside from blind folk, I mean. Who wouldn't detect the glowing spine anyway.

Exactly. And I mean, come on, is it really plausible that Gaius, who has thus far proven to be some kind of a sex maniac, never screwed Six from behind? Yeah. Right. And even if they HAD only done it missionary, in the dark that glowing would be pretty damn bright.

And Chief and Boomer seem to have sex A LOT. They don't seem like particularly kinky people, but I doubt it if Chief never saw her back when she was horny. I'm just saying.
